An editorial reading of the saved reviews
A budgeter that splits monthly income into weeks, accounting for bill due dates. The core idea: not 'how much is left this month' but 'how much is safe to spend this week.' Supports bank sync. Users call it the best they have tried after Mint, YNAB, and EveryDollar.

What people use it for
People who think about money weekly and find monthly budgets unhelpful because they tend to overspend in the first days after payday.
What reviews praise
- The weekly 'safe to spend' figure changes behavior: users stop blowing everything at the start of the month.
- Simple, without overwhelming detail.
What reviews complain about
- Bank sync broke in 2023 and remains unstable.
- The weekly balance calculation breaks when several large bills fall in the same week.
- Budget sharing with a partner is limited.

I was a monthly budgeter and always thought that a Weekly budget wouldn't make sense for me because I couldn't get past thinking in terms of expenses by month. But this app has converted me to a Weekly budgeter! If you are someone who loves math like me and wants to see if your spending is on-track in real-time, this app is perfect.
I can't stop telling people about this budgeting app - the reviews are true! The philosophy behind Weekly makes a ton of sense by splitting income and expenses into weekly chunks (hence the name, duh).
I intentionally waited several months before writing a review in order to ensure I really used the app (or not). I've tried various budgeting apps over the years, including Mint, Quicken, MS Money, Excel, etc., and they all have one thing in common: I stopped using them.
