An editorial reading of the saved reviews

A stable editor with a wide range of filters, lens distortion correction, and the ability to create custom presets. Users apply it for years as their primary editor for social media and professional publications. Text addition is unstable in recent versions.

What people use it for

Amateur photographers and content creators who need a reliable filter editor without a subscription or intrusive ads.

What reviews praise

  • Barrel distortion correction for lenses is rarely found in mobile editors.
  • The ability to create custom presets from slider settings and reuse them.
  • Filters produce professional results without a digital plastic look.

What reviews complain about

  • Text addition in recent versions is unstable: fonts shift or fail to render.
  • Adding a second photo to a project occasionally fails due to restricted gallery access.

I use this app to edit & create images for my business. Easy to use, great features. My only complaint is that I paid for the year subscription, but the app will randomly say 'your subscription has expired' and it will default to the free version mid-editing session.
UPDATE: ALL IS WELL. ZERO ISSUES WITH ROOKIE CAM. A BELOVED APP FOR MANY YEARS NOW. Old review: Muted Audio for No Reason for 2 videos and no others I’ve written glowing reviews for this app before Video today. One of them was so....importa
