An editorial reading of the saved reviews

Aggressive monetization with deliberately hidden ad controls. Basic barcode scanning works per reviews, QR is unreliable. A predatory billing pattern is confirmed.

What people use it for

Not recommended for anyone.

What reviews praise

Barcode scanning works reliably even in the basic mode.

What reviews complain about

The ad close button is intentionally colored to match the background image, a dark pattern.

What users experience

1 excerpt from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

The barcode function works (earning the one star) but the spam and popups to get you to subscribe is abysmal UX. Hiding the x using color matching to the background image is disgusting, anti-consumeristic and downright delete-worthy.
