An editorial reading of the saved reviews

A scanner with unreadable OCR and an aggressive subscription that hides features behind a paywall even for saving a file.

What people use it for

Almost no one. It only makes sense for a one-off scan as an image, with no need for text recognition.

What reviews praise

  • Basic photo scanning works and lets you share on the go.
  • The interface is simple enough for a one-off task.

What reviews complain about

  • OCR produces '1-3 words per line' and broken words instead of readable text.
  • You can't export or save a document without a subscription.

What users experience

1 excerpt from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

I had 2 letters that our mother's hand wrote. We needed them turned into typed letters. Scanned both letter just fine. But the transfer to text were complete fails!! 1-3 words per line (when shared to computer), words were jumbled together and also parsed into fractions of the word.
