An editorial reading of the saved reviews

A minimalist free tracker with multiple simultaneous counters, plus savings calculators for money and calories. No ads, no forced notifications, no subscriptions. People use it for years and come back after a relapse specifically for this.

What people use it for

People in long-term recovery who need a reliable, quiet counter without subscriptions, ads, or push notifications. Especially those working on multiple habits at once.

What reviews praise

Multiple independent clocks for different habits at the same time (quit drinking in January, quit smoking in May) is a rare mechanic that users call the key feature.

What reviews complain about

A bug with deleting and resetting clocks: sometimes the only way to reset a counter is to delete the entire app.
For people after a relapse who need to start over quickly, that is a real barrier.

What users experience

3 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

I have used Nomo for years now. When I started my sobriety journey, I knew I needed a way to track it, and just so happened to find my way to the most supportive tracker for it. The support provided, the options for different clocks, and the reinforcement through watching those numbers go up are so important.

Finding an app that's actually free and easy to use really makes my circumstance feel a little lighter. I always come back to it when I fall, and I hope this is my last go of it.

It's simple, and not the least complicated. If you are quitting a habit you don't want extra or a frustrating app. You can have multiple timers, so if you decide to quit drinking today, and four months from now you quit smoking. You can also name it personally.
