An editorial reading of the saved reviews
When the auto-captions fire they generate nicely and content folks like it, and the layout itself is simple. But reliability lets it down: it often captions only the first third of a video and then stops, manual fixing is clunky, and export drops the frame rate and degrades picture quality. Text-size and color issues plus constant asset re-downloading that crashes the app are also annoying.
What people use it for
People making short social clips who want fast auto-captions and can tolerate rough edges on longer videos.
What reviews praise
Solid auto-caption generation when it works, simple layout, helps make content, sometimes no signup and free
What reviews complain about
Captions only part of the video and cuts off, frame-rate drop and quality loss on export, clunky manual editing, can't change text size or aspect ratio, crashes during endless asset downloads
