An editorial reading of the saved reviews

ZEDGE is one of the oldest wallpaper and ringtone aggregators with a massive community catalog. Right now though, ringtones on iOS are still inconvenient to install (no direct install path), ads have become more aggressive, and AI-generated content is crowding out real creators in the feed. Wallpapers are still decent in volume.

What people use it for

Android users get more out of this. On iPhone it works for anyone who only needs wallpapers from a big catalog and does not expect a smooth ringtone installation.

What reviews praise

Wallpaper and ringtone catalog from real creators.
Niche styles you will not find in stock collections.

What reviews complain about

Installing a ringtone on iPhone requires several manual steps through Files.
The instructions are non-obvious and users regularly get lost.

What users experience

1 excerpt from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

Why is the related backgrounds only a thing when you use the web browser. On top of that all the app ever wants to show is some ai generated mess, when you can find wallpapers made by an actual human on the browser
