An editorial reading of the saved reviews
A simple fan noise app, one parent gets a child asleep in half a minute, others take it on trips instead of a separate noise machine. The main pain is that it used to be a one-time 99 cent purchase and now asks 1.99 a month for a single sound, and long-time users feel cheated. On top of that an overnight update removed a favorite sound and left only white noise, and there is no timer or speed control.

What people use it for
For parents who want simple fan noise for travel, if a subscription does not bother them
What reviews praise
Puts a child to sleep fast, handy for travel instead of a noise machine, simple soft background noise
What reviews complain about
Sound does not always resemble a fan, no timer or speed control, an update removed a favorite sound, cuts out too early, subscription replaced the old one-time purchase
What users experience
1 excerpt from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
Sounds more like television static than a fan, but the soft background noise helps block outside sounds, and I find I sleep more soundly.
