   Unauthorized upgrade. Horrible update! Woke up to over a $1900 charge on my debit card without my authorization. Harvest assumed that their new upgraded, yearly subscription would be great for my SMALL business with a single user-me! . I don’t even make $20,000 a year and they stole $1900 out of my account! Luckily they refunded it but I had to cancel my debit card. Even then they said that my finances are actually tied to my bank account and not my debit card. DISGUSTING!! Now I tried to downgrade to the free plan and they won’t even let me alter my active projects to fit the parameters of a free plan until I pay! I hate the new features and new subscription model. There’s no 24 hour live chat at all. They steal your money and limit the mobile app so you can’t even make changes. You have to use a web browser. I will be canceling all Harvest services. Do not fall for their expensive subscription.

   Poor quality app. They used to have a great native iOS app, then they rebuilt it probably using react native or similar and it’s pretty awful. Lately some entries have gone missing! I’m scared they’re going to ruin the macOS app too..

   Terrible. I absolutely hate harvest but it is forced on me. Their response to requests for changes is “we don’t like to change”.

   Always buggy when entering or editing time entries. I can’t even use the app because it’s buggy. The app is updated, but regardless, it freezes or I can’t modify time entries. Sometimes, quickly switching between entries causes it to freeze. I end up using the web app instead of mobile app.

   Used to be so good.. Then they changed the app. Now it is so hard to use. I spent an hour putting in all my expenses for the week and just checked and they are all gone. Bring back the old app. It worked.

   Significant Problems. With a recent update Harvest keeps encountering sync problems. It then shows entries that may need to be updated. And there is no way to see what the differences between the original entry and the un-synced entry. This has lead to great uncertainty with the time that was tracked. I’ve had to start keeping an additional record of tracked time. On one occasion I noticed that Harvest cut my tracked hours by 50%. On another occasion they took a 3.75 hour job and and added an addional 10 hours. Completely unacceptable.

    Buttons don’t work. Buttons on the mobile app don’t really work. Especially for add and subtracting minutes from the time. Really frustrating

    Useless. As CEO, I don’t track my time. I need an admin app. This app doesn’t provide me any of the visibility I need to see hours, projects, or invoices per client.

    Almost useless. This is the least intuitive app I’ve ever used. I go to a time to edit the project and task, it goes nowhere, and I’m back into favorites somehow. Just stick to the website and save your immortal soul.

    Bugs make it unusable. Used this app for two months now and twice I’ve opened it up to the beginning screen and it’s asked me to log in. Try logging in and says I don’t have an account. Lost all my time and everything. Twice it’s happened. When using the app sometimes when I go to edit a time slot it won’t show anything or the - hours buttons won’t be there only the +. Really liked it but can’t afford to have it bug out and lose all my time again.

    Broken Reports. When trying to change the time span of the report, most options are clipped off the screen. If scroll right and select Year then the options move down to where I can read them but I can’t figure out a way to actually make a selection. Anything I do makes it still only show one week at a time.

    High Hopes Dashed Away / Back to Basecamp. They have a great marketing team. The app feels like a shell of its former self. If you want to track time on the fly good luck. My tasks that I have added in the web browser doesn’t show up and I really don’t understand it. I go to use it and I just can’t. It feels futile. I’m going back to my happy place in Basecamp. It’s miles ahead of Harvest. There’s nothing to improve on here as you will be better off starting from scratch. You cannot do anything hardly. Cool logo and great marketing though. I just wish it were true.

    Doesn’t update in the background. For some reason the app has stopped updating in the background. When I launch the app I have to manually pull to refresh almost every time now. If you wait long enough after bringing it into the foreground it eventually updates, but that’s a terrible UX expecting users to wait a few seconds for it.

    This app can’t keep it together. From loosing time clock entries to app crashes. I’ve emailed support and they haven’t responded yet after a week of bad service.

    Buggy Since Update. Older versions of this app worked great and made it simple to track time. The recent versions add more features and bugs. With the most recent version time is displayed in the order it was added not in the order for the day

    No longer works. This app used to be the most wonderful task time tracker in the App Store. Now it no longer works, we can no longer add any timer. The screen goes blank, and nothing can be entered. Very sad.

    BEWARE DoNot Use. this used to be a good app. They have updated the new application and it is not only buggy but creates tremendous problems. I was reviewing some past charges and unbeknownst to me. The app stayed at the old date even after I closed it. Accordingly, I input it apparently over a week and a half of charges thinking that it would be on the current date but instead it was at the old date. This is horrendous. It’s creating a nightmare for me of trying to update the charges and I’m concerned that I may have lost a number of them since they were now posted in earlier years. I’m not sure what’s going on with this company but I’m leaving.

    New update is terrible. Why?! The new app is frustratingly bad. Expenses lags and then doesn’t actually save. Dollar amount/decimal point settings are insanely hard to set. Info doesn’t fit on screen on iPhone.. seems to duplicate entries when the ‘save expense’ or save ‘time entry’ or not at all. You all need to seriously work on this. I’m ready to bail

    Laggy. The app used to be much better. With the new design it is so slow to update that you constantly wonder if you turned a timer on or off. I just opened the app and it said I had left a timer running for 14 hours. After a minor panic (going back to figure out when a timer should have been stopped is a headache), I refreshed the app and saw that I hadn’t left the timer on after all. Never used to have these glacial sync issues with the ild app. A timer app needs to be responsive!

    They destroyed a perfectly good app. This overhaul is a disaster. If the save button takes me to that blank white screen one more time I’m going to delete the app, because I have yet to use it and have it work. The new version might make more sense on the back end, but it’s not usable.

    Now version is clunky. very disappointed in latest harvest app for iPhone - interface covers the note section as so as you start typing - awkward interface - please fix
