   Forced ChatGPT feature. Viber added a ChatGPT feature that I do not need and do not want to use and did not provide an opt out option.

   Remove chatgpt. Remove chat gpt. I understand it’s optional to use but I don’t want it there at all. I want it gone. I don’t want random message tab with chat GPT that drives me insane that I can’t hide it, i don’t want the bar on bottom show the icon in the center. Make it gone. I will never use it, never did. I don’t want my viber looking like bot. Viber app looks like spam right now filled with ads, chat gpt and business inbox you can’t remove and you don’t use. It’s time to delete the app and move to another app. I permanently deleted snapchat for this exact reason after using it for 15 years.

   Forced AI integration without consent. Viber pushed ChatGPT features on me that is intrusive. It is impossible to delete ChatGPT from my chat list. ChatGPT will appear in my chats with other users asking me to prompt things like remixing pictures. The app errors when I try to disconnect ChatGPT in the settings. Effectively, there is no option to fully remove the ChatGPT integration, which makes the app feel less user-friendly and takes away control from users. I cannot recommend the app.

   AI JUNK. Viber was a great app until now. They have added ChatGPT and it basically fills the chat window with senseless garbage with no way to delete it. I turned it off in the settings menu and it still does it. Also when you click the disconnect ChatGPT it doesn’t and tells you it can’t because something went wrong. Looks like I’ll go back to using Line.

   ChatGPT now built in and inescapable. Why??. Nobody asked for your AI slop. We know that the only way Viber is providing ChatGPT to users “for free” is by selling our data to OpenAI. Nobody wants this malignant technology built in. Will be deleting my Viber account and removing the app from my phone. Genuinely disgusted.

   Forces an AI feature with no option to remove it. I’m stopping using this app because it forces an AI feature (ChatGPT tab/chat) with no option to remove or disable it. Even the “disconnect” option doesn’t work and just shows an error. I don’t agree with being given features I can’t turn off. Very disappointing.

   Forcing ChatGPT. Forcing ChatGPT on users who have supported this app almost from the beginning is terrible. It’s activated automatically without asking permission and even when disabled and chat cleared it still lingers on the chat list and can’t be removed. This is a major privacy concern and not a feature anyone asked for or needed.

    chatgpt. I don’t like chatgpt being integrated without a way to turn it off or delete the chatgpt chat from the list. It feels like ai is constantly being shoved down consumers throats and most of us are tired of it.

    ChatGPT and Gen AI. I’ve used Viber for years and have by in large loved it. It was easy to use, worked even when my SMS messages didn’t (which was a common issue for me), and allowed a level of customization of backgrounds and themes not a lot of other apps did. I even bought the Viber Plus subscription because I felt like I was supporting a company that was doing a “lesser evil” than some of its competitors. But I immediately cancelled my subscription once ChatGPT was added as a conversation in my lists of chats. I already hated having the Gen AI features of “remixing” or “reminagining” an image, or getting “help” or having the option to “embellish” my messages. If I’m sending a screenshot of important information, why on Earth would I want to “remix” it? And if I can’t even write a single text without the help of AI, then I shouldn’t be using this app in the first place. Adding full-on ChatGPT was the final straw for me. I’m so sick of companies needlessly adding AI into every single unrelated app regardless of what consumers want. It’s awful for the environment, awful for independent thinking, and awful at preventing the spread of misinformation. Jesus Christ, I am so disappointed. I’ll only continue using Viber until I find a suitable replacement but I will never again pay for this service.

    don't want a.i.. Been using and enjoying viber for years, but it's been steadily getting worse with the non-removable business inbox and now chatgpt. I'll be deleting my data and uninstalling now.

    I don’t need ChatGPT!!. UPDATE: 6/22/26 You guys put a new tab on chats that cannot be removed! (CHATGPT) I do not need this feature on my Viber chat because I don’t use it and it should be removed. Or we should have the option to remove it COMPLETELY from our Viber account if we want!!! Why do you keep adding tabs that are of no use to us users of this app???? MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!

    Activation failed error. Extremely disappointed. I keep getting an "Activation failed" error on Viber here in Myanmar. I cannot use the app at all.Please fix this critical server or connection issue as soon as possible.

    STOLEN MONEY. I purchased an Annual Subscription to Viber before I found out it wouldn’t work. Five days later, after numerous attempts from myself and Viber Support failed to get it to work, I requested a refund. Viber denied my refund, stating that refunds are not available to people living in America. Consumers should take that into consideration when purchasing from this company. Why buy from a company that will RIP-OFF someone just because of where they live?

    I need to cancel the subscription.. I downloaded the app right after getting a trial. However i never got the code to use the app and my card details were already given. A week has passed, still not getting the code, never got to use the trial, but the worst part is the fact that since i cannot get the access code sms i cannot sign up and cancel the subscription. Ive already been charged and all the emails ive sent were replied by uselss automated responses. I NEED A SOLUTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

    Video Quality. The bad app i ever had especially when i try to call vc, i barely see my parents faces and it is not about my internet speed, even after i connect multiple wifi, the resolution of the video call is still poor Disappointed!

    Problem with GIFs and temporary files - support is terrible. I have been waiting for a resolution a Problem with GIFs and temporary files for more than a month. Each time I am told to wait a little longer, and then the support chat is immediately closed without giving me the chance to ask any clarifying questions. I provided a very detailed description of the problem, but I have not even received a reply regarding the status of my request. I am being ignored. Often I only receive the same template message over and over again! The issue requires more investigation. We will get back to you as soon as possible via e-mail. Support is terrible ! I am always advised to reinstall Viber whenever there is a problem. But if I reinstall it on my secondary device (iPad), all my messages disappear. Viber cannot clear its cache and does not automatically save images to the cloud to avoid using up all the device’s memory! Sometimes messages arrive on my iPhone but do not appear on my iPad. When I accidentally send a wrong message to a colleague and then delete it, sometimes it is deleted, but other times it remains visible in her chat! This is just awful! Terrible support! Horrible application!

    How are you supposed to use this??. When I tried to make an account it required my phone number. Once I entered my phone number, it said it would send me a call or text. Unsurprisingly it did absolutely nothing. I am deeply unsatisfied of my experience using this app. I just wanted to connect with family 😞
