Useless. Tried to use the app and it asked me where to go. I told it where to take me. It then said where do you wanna go in the form of where to drop off? I’m like I told you where I want to go. What’s the problem? Ultimately couldn’t get it to work. Worthless app worthless service.

Scammers. Don’t ever try to use this company car trying order ride every address in San Francisco says out of service you can’t use this in sfo completely this SCAM LAYES SCAM DONT EVER TRUST THIS SCAMMER

Worst client support for lost items. Forgot my wallet in one of the car and they couldn’t help. Had to make so many calls and no help…uber is so much better with human in the loop for bad situations to help us in.

Horrible. Got stuck in traffic. Police officer had to write the company a ticket! Never got our money back. Would not recommend. Tesla Robotaxi or Zoox are far superior. Takes long time to arrive and you have to walk like half a mile to get to the car! Horrible Experience

They make you use the Uber app and you won’t get a Waymo.. I wanted to ride in a Waymo in Austin but they make you use the Uber app. When you use Uber there is no option to pick a Waymo ride. Never got the opportunity to ride in one because of Uber.

Not even able to see prices!. The app doesn't even show if they support your area, much less show prices so there's no way to see if they even offer service to you without going through a bunch of screens and giving them personal information. Even though I went through all of that, it still doesn't go to a screen with a map where you can look for a ride. The app needs a way of showing prices. I'm not going to switch from Uber unless I know it isn't much more expensive.

Price Gauging to the Max. As a Waymo beta user in Los Angeles, aka someone who truly believed and utilized waymo’s when no one was using, I am truly disappointed at its predatory pricing and disappointing wait times. Maybe try and hone down your efficiency of current fleet before expanding? Maybe try and reward the people who have been there since the beginning? not to mention the routes Waymo decides to take are utterly IDIOTIC!!!!

Hassle. They put me through all the hassle of creating an account just to find out they don’t serve my area. I should be able to look around the app without having to make an account.

Waymo is scamming. Waymo is the most scamming car company in the world just stick to uber or Lyft Waymo charges you double the price just for you to have a private ride but they would try to scam you by any way possible they would watch you on the cameras this Waymo company needa get shut down

Terrible. After waiting for 40 minutes, the car decided to cancel the ride in front of my face. I was looking at it. Then I tried to rebook another and it was another 40 minute wait. Terrible service!!!

San Antonio. Waymo has kept cities on pause without giving honest updates as to when they're putting the service back on the road.
- ★★★★★login, signup and account access
Unable to login. I’m logged in to google on my phone. But when i try to use this account to signup to waymo it says that i am already logged in on some other device and that i will receive some link in 6 hours… complet garbage ux

Useless. The force you to order with Uber, and now you cant even request an Waymo anymore, absolutely useless! If I want to ride Waymo I want to ride waymo not with a random guy.

Ready to waste time. Fees

Unreliable. They’ll happily take your money, but if you wanted to make it on time, better call a Lyft or Uber
- ★★★★★the stated pickup time is a systematic lie
Idiotic at best, dangerous at worst.. First time using a waymo in Downtown LA got me stranded in a busy and sketchy area 20 minutes away from my destination. Had to force the support team to refund me and walk back to my destination. Will never use it again. Clearly the technology is not ready yet. Embarassing.

Don’t even bother it’s way more expensive than other options. Driverless cars are supposed to be cheaper or at least thats why you would even want to get one for but they make it A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE than uber and lyft. By a lot more expensive I mean at least 25% more expensive, so yeah, don’t even bother using this until they make prices way cheaper

Installed the app, only Los Angeles location shows. Installed the app and wanted to see what area in San Francisco I could book a vehicle on an upcoming trip but the only service area it shows is Los Angeles and although that’s closer to where I live in the online valley, I have no interest in traveling to Los Angeles.

Can’t go anywhere hardly!!!. the waymo concept is amazing but if it can’t take me far what’s even the point.

Uses push notifications for advertising. The business practice of using push notifications to send advertisements always earns a one star review from me. I also turned off my push notifications for Waymo, and you should too if you don’t like to get promotions through them.

Pick up and Drop off changes. Bad pickup and bad drop off. Use them regularly but now pickoff and drop off are 7 minutes walks to get to now. No point in using if they don’t even let me take me close to where I want to go.

Disgusting. Exploitative company that hires people out of third world countries for customer support where they can’t even speak for more than 10 minutes without getting in trouble
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Horrible prices. Prices way to high they tried to charge me 15 dollars for a .8 mile ride , on uber it’s 5 and waymo doesn’t even have human drivers . A shame won’t be using until they figure it out

Literally almost killed someone. My first and only Waymo ride resulted in nothing but a panic attack for me. It was supposed to be a convenient way to get to the Phoenix airport turned into trauma when it ran through not one but two different crosswalks at the airport, including one occupied. The poor man quite literally had to throw himself in his suitcase to the curb. These are death traps.

Unreliable. My experience has been that Waymo app cancels trips more often than not shortly before or at time of pickup. customer service options available in app were zero help. Even customer service rep suggested that I call another ride share company. Do not use my his app it you need reliable transportation.

Waymo’s “smart cars” decided to avoid the freeway, turning a 20 minute ride into a 40 minute one. They make traffic bad in San Francisco, their riding experience is worse, and now they don’t even use freeways. Sure, you don’t need to tip them, but that’s because their quality isn’t worthy of tips.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Overpriced. Waymo is trying to charge the same amount as an uber driver when its an automated car with no driver talk about greed why would I ever choose this option over an uber driver

Regularly takes wrong routes. Third time the vehicle has gone the long way that may be twice as long as the most direct route. Does Waymo not use Google Maps? Did Google forget it owns Google Maps when building Waymo?

Limited functionality. The cars themselves are great but the app is painfully limited. There’s no ride history to report expenses. It’s extremely hard to plan a trip with Waymo because you have to already be in a service area to use the app. I am planning a trip and only get one extremely low resolution image of the service area so I can’t tell if Waymo will work. The app appears to be an afterthought. I guess they are relying on the Uber integration for usability.

Waymo in SF. Don’t get me wrong - Waymo as a concept is SO great, but I find myself never wanting to take them because of their insanely ridiculous routing choice. I spend almost 1.5-2x the time sitting in a Waymo than I would have an Uber or Lyft. Fix the routing please, it’s gotten so much worse over the last few months.
