  1. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

I GOT TRICKED!. They took back for for what I paid for. The first time I purchased it, it had the capability of using photos on runs and then they made it where I had to upgrade if I wanted that service AFTER I my paid version had it. Now, the graphs won’t display correctly and it prompts me to upgrade if I want the advanced graphs that look like the original ones. Imagine if you bought a car and they randomly took took your original wheels off and face you smaller ones and asked you to pay for what you originally had. Nice app but the “fine” print is very concerning.

  2. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Doesn’t connect. This app has it’s ups and downs. I paid for it and it worked for while. Recently, the app is give me half the calories that I use to burn. For example my 2 miles walks would give about 400 calories, now for the same walk it only says I burned 200 calories. Is there change in app why this is doing it?

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Now useless. I have used this app and it’s sister app iWalker to track my hiking stats including distance, CPM, STM, pace, elevation and route map. I could then share those stats by emailing them to myself (including charts and map) so I could upload them to my hiking clubs meetup site. All free. Fitdigits has eliminated everything and disabled its iWalker app entirely. Now you must pay an exhorbitant $9.95 a month membership fee for any useable data. This app is now useless and the membership fee a ripoff.

Will Not Open. After the latest update, the app will not open. I use it daily and have for an extended time, now I’ve lost continuity.

  5. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Crashing. Keeps crashing, restarted phone, didn’t help, tried to log in but kept kicking me out.

Getting glitchy. I’ve used iRunner for years. Matter of fact, it’s the only app I’ve highly recommended to my walk/run friends. However, lately I’ve been walking with a friend who’s using the app per my recommendation. We walk the same distance and my pace is typically faster than hers on the pavement. Yet, our pace and distance trackings vary by as much as a half a minute and a tenth of a mile. The problem is that her pace is reading faster and her mileage is reading longer than mine although she’s slower, and we’re walking the same distance. This is problematic. I want EVERY BIT OF CREDIT I deserve for the work I put in. Please fix this. (Important note: I use my Apple Watch. She doesn’t have one.)

No Good. 2-3 years ago I was raving about this app and recommended it to everyone I knew...I’m not sure what has changed but the heart rate monitor does not pair which throws everything off...all the good reviews I see are from years ago when the app actually worked

Issue with accurate Data. The speed issue seems to continue. I walked my dogs today and it said I was averaging 9mph to 18mph. And no way in hell can I walk that fast with dogs constantly stoping to sniff everything. It worked well before the past 6 updates but does not want to record accurate data

  9. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Doesn’t work with all heart monitors. I downloaded the app and upgraded because it said it works with heart monitors. My heart monitor is Bluetooth and worked with my iPhone however it would not work with this app and the company was very rude about the issue. Don’t waste your time

Doesn’t work w/ Apple Watch 2. Been using iRunner for several years with a Polar HRM and it was great for everything. Got an Apple Watch and I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps from the web site, including adding iCardio, but like others, it doesn’t work when I start a workout. And I KNOW it’s an iCardio/iRunner issue because the heart rate app that came with the Watch works just fine. Website troubleshooting page has recommendations that you would never remember when you are ready to start working out and just want to hit the go button. The troubleshooting page says “we are working on better handling” to try to get the software and the Watch to play nicely, but the date of that is Oct 26, 2016 (13 months ago as I’m writing this). Unfortunately I can not recommend this if you plan to use it with an Apple Watch. With a polar chest strap and just your phone, it’s terrific though.

  11. ★★★★slow performance and long loading times

I tried to love it, but..... I gave this app a lot more time to prove itself than I normally do. I really wanted to make it work, because I wanted to go from my dedicated fitness watch to a do-it-all Apple Watch. But, it has just let me down too many times. If you just want a basic time/distance/heartrate tracker, it's probably ok. But for custom workouts, it fails: - I don't want to take my phone out of it's beltpack mid-run, and custom workouts aren't displayed on the Apple watch. Therefore, I depend on the vocal cues. Two problems 1. verbal cues are sometimes confusing. When running at a pace, does "Zone too high" mean speed up or slow down? 2. sometimes, it fails to announce the end of a segment, missing my signal speed up or slow down as planned, or to miss my turn-around point. I thought it was my bluetooth earbuds dropping out, but switching to wired earbuds didn't solve the problem. Next, it gets confused and mis-handles complex workouts with repeats and mixed units of measure (time & distance, pace & heart rate). Today, the plan was: 1. Walk 4 minutes in HR zone 1 to warm-up 2. Walk 1 minute in HR Zone 1 3. Run 1 mile in Pace Zone 3 Repeat steps 2 & 3 four times. 4. Begin Recovery 5. End What I got was: 1. Warm up for 4 minutes 2. Walk for 1 minute in HR Zone 1 3. Run for 1 mile in Pace Zone 3 4. Walk for 1 minute in Zone 1 (not clear if it meant HR Zone or Pace Zone) 5. Run for 1 minute in Zone 3 6. Begin Recovery 7. End My approximately 4.5 mile workout terminated after about 1.25 miles. From there on, I was guessing as to pace, effort, time, and distance.

  12. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Confusing. I did not figure out how to work this app. It gives ZERO directions.I do not recommend.

  13. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

    Crash. Crash

  14. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Frozen "waiting". This version nor working for me Otis frozen with message "waiting" What do I do? Any suggestions I gave iPhone version 6 plus

  15. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Mileage. Most recent update does not track your miles while running without a sensor. It only tracks your time. Previous version did.

  16. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

New update...can't do manual entry's anymore?. Ever since Thursday August 4 I have been unable to do my daily manual entry. Don't know why I've been able to do it for years. I guess I'll just have to use a different app.

  17. ★★★★a needed feature is missing

Disinformation. This app does not integrate with UP3 at all. You need a special heart monitor for this app to perform most of its functions. Im sorry I wasted my money on this app.

  18. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Just an ad. This app is absolutely terrible. It is very hard to use, and seeing run statistics in the app is next to impossible. I am very disappointed that even the free app is difficult to use based on linking most buttons to ads for the paid version.

  19. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Doesn't let me. Input my weight. Weak.

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Upgrade required. They want extra cash for HR tracking. They discontinued the app that came with mine and this is the only one that works with it :/

  21. ★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data

Inaccurate. Duration & distance is totally inaccurate.

  22. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Update messed this app. Use to love it, but now it kills my battery in less than 30 minutes. Need to get a new app and delete this. Sorry

  23. ★★★★privacy and excessive permissions

Do not use. App violates your privacy by tracking you when not using app.

  24. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Be warned, ANT+ doesn't work. If you're considering this app for treadmill use with an ANT+ footpod, be warned that the ANT+ feature has been non-functional since the release of iOS 8.

  25. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Broken. App won't start at home screen.

  26. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Stupid.. It wouldn't let me change my weight. Deleted. I do not weigh 170 pounds thank you very much!!!!

  27. ★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data

Very Disappointed. This app worked great before the iOS update, but now even with updates to the app it doesn't work the same. Tested out the distance tracker against my own car and found it was very inaccurate. Deleting the app for now.

  28. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Terrible. Use to work. Now (after 8 recent attempts) it doesn't not track my miles accurately. Terrible app. Don't waste your time with it.

  29. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No music controls in app. No music controls in app. Was the best feature and made it better than runkeeper. Now it stinks. Please bring in app music controls.

  30. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No music control. Dropping the music controls from the app was a fatal mistake. Nobody wants to workout and switch between applications
