   Ok app to not worth $60 a year. Once was an ok app that kept good rep/set count with $ addons. Now force users to $60 a year subscription(cheapest offer btw). Not a chance for a rep/set counter. To the developer welcome to lost revenue and good luck. Deleted!

   Locked out. I made a one-time payment in the past for premium features. Now “change of business model” locked me out of the app and I can no longer use the features (or app at all) that I paid for. When I reached out to ask about it I was told “this purchase is no longer supported”. I find this ridiculous and a slap in the face to long time users. Do not recommend paying for it.

   Heartbroken. I’ve used this app for years. I’m saddened to see there is no longer a free version. I refuse to pay that much money for an app. I’ll use an excel spreadsheet ✌️

   Disrespect for longtime users. I paid a one-time fee that was supposed to give permanent access to premium features. Now the app is completely unusable unless I pay a subscription, and no offer of a refund for the payment that was supposed to give lifetime access. Very shady.

   Completely disappointed in the direction this app is going. I paid for a lifetime subscription before the app moved to a monthly subscription model and it’s not being honored. It’s really crazy to think that the money they used from me built the infrastructure for the App they no longer want me to use.

   Subscription scammers!. The app says 7 days free subscription and then charges you immediately. Then apple wont reverse the charge and stronglifts says there’s nothing they can do. Fix your app and stop scamming people.

    Do not buy. I purchased a lifetime access subscription to the basic app for tracking and building basic workouts. It was exactly what I needed and worked really well with my Apple Watch and phone. I was actually really impressed how the added features to make the workouts easier to track. Now my access has been removed because they have switched to a subscription model. I get making money is hard but it’s basically a spreadsheet that works with your Apple Watch and phone. I’m really annoyed and would recommend not purchasing.

    only kg, no lbs. You can only set weights in lgs, not pounds. Useless for someone like me who has weights measured in pounds. It also forces you into a subscription (don’t believe the free trial lie) before you can do even a single workout. Zero stars.

    After stating you would have lifetime access…he removed it. ***contact the EU Consumer Protection groups, this is in violation of the UCDP, the CRD, and DSA*** Previously the dev upgraded the software and packages, but stated for those of us if you had purchased the power pack that you would have lifetime access to it (people Have the screenshots and have posted them online). As of last year the dev removed all access unless you pay a subscription . Also refuses to refund the original purchase amount.

    Abhorrent. I’ve been using stronglifts since 2020 when I made a one time payment for the app. The latest update has made it so I cannot even use the “non-premium” features. The app is good but not $60 a year good.

    Punishes Loyal Customers Who Paid in Good Faith. I purchased the StrongLifts Power Pack in 2017 as a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription, no expiration date, no recurring fees. I have an Apple receipt to prove it. The app has since moved to a subscription model and has completely cut off access to features I already paid for, with no prior warning and no grandfathering of existing customers. When I contacted support, they acknowledged the purchase but said they no longer support it. They offered 50% off a subscription as a consolation — but why should I pay again for something I already bought? The app itself was simple but useful which makes this even more disappointing. If you’re considering downloading it, just know that a one-time purchase apparently means “until we decide otherwise.” Subscribe if you want, but go in with eyes open.

    I paid for this app in a one-time purchase back in 2018… now they blocked me out. When I purchased this app back in 2018 it was a one-time fee and I’ve been using it for years. The last update took away my previous ability to add and subtract workouts unless I pay for their monthly subscription. They basically just took it away from me. Worst company ever! Do not use this app I’m on the hunt for a better one now. Total rip off!

    Not worth it. I've been using this app for over a year and generally liked it but the latest update after my annual subscription expired stripped out features I relied on daily and locked them behind the paid subscription. I paid for a year initially. During that time zero features were added. The free version now has fewer features than it did when I initially started using it. Oh and the annual sub went up by twenty bucks. There is no scenario where this app is worth half a hundred dollars a year. I would gladly pay it one time to support the developers, and I did, but I will not be renewing. It doesn't do anything can't you can't find in cheaper or free apps.

    Locked out of lifetime purchase and now locked out of free features. Paid for a lifetime power pack a while ago, they decided that “lifetime” had ran out and locked power pack purchasers out of their paid benefits. I was annoyed but didn’t use most of those features anyway, continued using the free tier, now they removed the free tier and require a subscription and don’t give you the option to export your data once locked out. Scum bag behavior.

    Loved this all for years until it’s pay to play. I used this app for 8 years. Lines it enough to pay 8 bucks for b the upgrade version. Since then, it’s entirely subscription based. There are free or single pay options out there that do the same as this. Save your money.

    Removed Paid Power Pack Access. Was an early adopter for this app many-many years back, and paid for the lifetime Power Pack. Turns out late last year this scum dev removed all access for a paid product. So much for “lifetime”, huh? The program is decent for beginners, but DO NOT give this scammer money.

    Locked Out. I paid $180.00 for a family lifetime subscription in 2024. I have had this downloaded since 2015. I can no longer access anything without a “new” subscription and it will not restore my previous purchase. Guess it is time to move on. The DEVs lost sight of what is important and have lost their credibility.

    Locked out after paying for app almost 9 years ago. I purchased this app almost 9 years ago and have been using it on and off since then. I noticed an increase in ad harassment (“subscribe to X plan”) even though I owned the app. I have finally been locked out of the app until I subscribe. The only feature that I needed from this app was the workout history. I will find that in another app because I’m not willing to subscribe to this bait-and-switch garbage.

    Bait and Switch. As others have mentioned, having previously paid for the app which guaranteed access to a certain feature set in perpetuity, I opened the app only to find that I suddenly had to create a log-in and, apparently, a subscription. Absent that, I can’t use the app at all or access my past workouts. I sent an email complaining to the developer and their response was “You don't have to use the app.” Nice. APPLE: Force this developer to honor their promises or kick them out of the App Store.
