An editorial reading of the saved reviews
Toast is convenient for ordering at small restaurants, but the loyalty system is unreliable: restaurants appear in the rewards catalog without actually accepting them, and the platform lets you place an order at an already-closed venue without automatically refunding you.

What reviews praise
Brings hundreds of small local restaurants into one app, especially those with no ordering system of their own.
What reviews complain about
The app doesn't check whether a restaurant is open before you place an order, which leads to lost money and waiting for nothing.
