Freebie wins on speed of getting started: minimal fields, straight to business, clean PDF out the other end. Two mechanical barriers though: after 5 invoices you can only edit old ones with a subscription, and the anti-fraud system can block invoice creation mid-session with a client no explanation and no way to unblock on the spot.
