At its peak Loona offered a unique format: interactive coloring under a narrative voice with sophisticated sound design. The mechanic genuinely calmed anxious users. But the developers switched to another project, content went without updates for over a year, and the app has effectively become a museum of its own past.

What reviews praise
- Interactive 'escapes': scenes where you tap to animate details.
- Atmospheric music and sounds far above most competitors.
- A gentle alarm with a gradually rising volume.
What reviews complain about
- The scene catalog is frozen: what once released monthly no longer releases at all.
- The app loses its point when its main value, novelty, disappears.
What users experience
2 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
During COVID I began suffering from intense insomnia, panic attacks that would last for three or four days without letting up, and major major depression. I was on all these pills and nothing helped. Then I stumbled across Loóna.
My original review was 5 stars, I loved this app and used it every night. I even purchased a whole year of premium. It was such a scam — they claim to do monthly updates to stories and scapes which they completely stopped doing.
