An editorial reading of the saved reviews
A tracker with a good food database and an honest free model, but with a critical reliability problem: the server regularly goes offline for days or weeks, and during each outage some users lose their entire food history and custom recipes.

What people use it for
People willing to accept an unreliable infrastructure in exchange for free tracking with a restaurant database
What reviews praise
A large restaurant and prepared-food database makes tracking easier for people who frequently eat out.
What reviews complain about
Food history and custom recipes are periodically wiped during technical outages with no recovery option.
What users experience
2 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
I am done with this app. It IS great, tracks my protein and carb intake very well. But for the third time I have lost all of my previous numbers, custom foods, all my statistics. I know it's free, but if I have to KEEP entering food information every time this randomly erases all of my info, it's not worth it.
Great when it works, but twice now it has crashed or been offline for days "for major improvements" that never materialize. The worst part of this is that ALL your stored data (including the recipes you've laboriously built and saved) is erased!
