Brass was once a stable customization tool with transparent widgets and an icon library. Now it crashes massively when opening the widget tab. The regression happened after an update and has not been fixed. Icons still work, but the widget functionality is effectively broken for a large share of users.

Good templates and the ability to make transparent widgets is great, but the app hasn't been updated to work with the new iOS 26 customization options on the home screen. Using the tinted or clear icon options result in a white box instead of the widget.I like the app it's a good way to change the icons for a lot of apps at once. Only issue is that not every app has an icon. Understandable however the search engine in the app seems to be broken and will not load any search results only a super repetitive error message.None of my gift widgets will load and I keep getting error codes. I've tried downloading and removing the app and nothing works. It's frustrating that there's no way to contact these people.the transparent widget on the Home Screen does not work anymore. It only load up as an error, and nothing I've done helps.Love the creativity of this app, will definitely continue to use it.
