Parents keep it for 8 and even 11 years because the rain or mountain-river sound genuinely puts the child to sleep, and they value the night light with brightness and continuous play. Right now there are two big pains: after an update the app crashes on open on iPad and doesn't recognize the old one-time purchase, demanding a subscription for what was already paid. Plus the night light is gone, for some playback cuts off after 30 minutes, and restore-purchase and support don't work.
