Waste. Deletes your account for no reason

They illegally keep billing you ‼️. Be careful if you buy a premium membership and cancel it they will still auto renew it. Customer service is absolutely worthless and does nothing to remedy the situation. I had to contact my credit card to dispute the charge. Sadly, the app was not worth it anyways it’s mostly old profiles that were created years ago and the person hasn’t even logged on in years. Definitely way better apps out there. This is the bottom of the barrel of all the dating apps.

It sucks. I paid for this apps for over six months and got a couple of like here an there never got any response from any of my likes so I quit paying for the subscription and now magically I’m constantly getting likes but you have to pay to see them an the hole time I had my subscription I might have gotten 4 maybe 5 an now that I don’t pay for it I’m getting 4 or more every other day an it kept trying to get me to subscribe to match.com the entire time

This app sucks too many problems!. Wants me to pay every time I hit a like or get one ! I bought the premium subscription already! Fix you app !

Terrible Support. Account randomly banned on creation and support wouldn’t tell me why when I needed help logging in, then they abruptly closed the email thread.

Garbage. Deletes account immediately after it’s created. Won’t give you a chance to even log in. No reasons given.

Tricks. I downloaded the app; I was willing to pay for the subscription but I bought the monthly and it didn’t do anything! every time I clicked it said I needed another subscription

Hard to use. So I paid for the basic subscription because I was getting lots of likes and wanted to see them. 5 minutes after I paid, I wanted my money back. None of the likes fit my parameters that I had set in distance or age. Plus, I’m not able to easily get rid of the people who liked me but I don’t like them. It’s really frustrating because then it’s hard to tell when someone new likes you. I really see why they don’t give a trial. Because if anyone gets a trial, they would cancel it immediately. I want my money back and I want to forget this app. It sucks

Subscription purchase not showing up in the app. I purchased the premium three month plan. However, it will not show me matches as advertised.

Stay away!. This app is a joke. I wasn't able to log in for the last 2 days. I contacted POF about it and they said my account is banned. I tried to appeal and it was denied. No explanation of why I was banned. I heard a lot of people got banned recently smh. POF needs to shut down!

No matches. You won’t ever get a match in this app. I’ve been on it for a long time and you will never match unless you pay, all just to see your likes.

App went downhill. It logged me out and doesn’t recognize my credentials but won’t resend me link for a new password.

Unreal. Won’t pay for this. I was off and on the site a couple of times. The last time I was on for maybe 2 days , hadn’t met anyone , had problems with face verification. Went to sign in and wouldn’t accept my password, tried to reset. Had to contact support. At which time they tell me I’m banned ( not suspended ) for no reason, no explanation, other than generic terms and conditions. I’ve tried a number of emails and no one will talk to me over the matter. All I can say is beware there are a lot of scammers on that site.

All lies. Nothing but cash hook ups and bots. Wouldn’t bother for actual males looking

App took my money. Spent money to see who likes me, but it took my money and proceeded to not let me see anyone that likes me. Broken app scammed me

Fake. Fake profiles, fake messages that pop up when you are due to renew, ai slop, when you try to report a fake profile it doesn’t let you submit a explanation. It only allows you to “block their fake user” everyone is selfie verified according to them.Using ai to take people off the app -while using a texting app- it’s catfishing but the actual dating app is doing it. Preset to a refined search that has ages already set every time. Even these reviews are ai generated, always do a reverse image search if you have doubts. An ad for 10 other dating apps telling you that you’ve been selected to try them was the giveaway. If you take the convo to text use reverse white pages to see if it says landline- how are you texting on a landline? It’s a texting app.

Selfie verification broken. Broken Selfie Verification and No Customer Support The selfie verification system does not work properly for users with beards. No matter how many times I follow the instructions, adjust the lighting, change angles, or make sure nothing is covering my face, the system repeatedly claims my face is obstructed. My beard is part of my face, not an obstruction. This has been an ongoing issue for years, yet POF has failed to correct it or provide a reliable alternative, such as manual verification. A required identity-verification system should be capable of recognizing normal facial hair. The situation is made considerably worse by the complete lack of accessible customer support. There is no useful support option in the app, no clear way to contact a person, and the available support links and contact methods either do not work or lead nowhere. After considerable time spent trying to resolve this to no avail, I have gotten nowhere and am ultimately left writing a negative review simply to get the developers’ attention. Please fix the beard-related verification failures and provide users with an actual, functioning way to contact customer support when your automated system fails.

Pof premium. It doesn’t work does not let you see the premium feature that you paid for to allow you to see who likes you pay 19.99 I was able to get a refund and sorry to see that the feature does not work

Customer service AI runaround. They are now heavy on AI and treat women 👎🏻with 0 safeguards. They’ve vastly degraded with latest update. Corrupt unethical immoral practices POF uses, $ is their priority.

Absolutely Garbage. This is by far a joke one of if not the worst dating app out there. Don’t waste your time or money with it.

Scammers. 99% of the members are scammers. You need to be vigilant on spotting them unless that’s what you are looking for.

Upgraded subscription. I upgraded my subscription and now for some reason I don’t get any of that add-ons that description said I got not one, but I still got charged for it so I paid an extra $20 for a week for nothing

Shady. Tries to charge $40 instead of $20 for half of discount of one month prestige.

Bots. Even some of the verified accounts are fake! That’s their way of making it seem like there’s lots of women. Those fake verified accounts will communicate all day but you won’t get pass communication! The real profiles are females that been ran through and passed around but still expect to date a millionaire

App sucks. 1 star try to create an account give all the information they asked for when done they wouldn’t give me one because didn’t create my account. I gave all my interest. My account information and opened my self up yet I got wasn’t my problem by support

Pile of garbage. There is no way all the reviews for this app are real. App is constantly trying to force you into paying for upgrades. Can’t do basic filters. Not many people on the app even though there are over a million reviews. Very suspicious. Stay away. Don’t even think about giving it on moment of your time.

Account Locked, Phone Number Rejected, and No Response From Support. My biggest issue with Plenty of Fish has been account access and the complete lack of support. My account became inaccessible without any clear explanation. When I attempted to regain access, I was asked to verify my phone number, but the system repeatedly tells me my number is invalid even though it is a legitimate phone number that I actively use. The most frustrating part is that I have attempted to contact support numerous times and have not received a single response. Not an explanation, not an update, not even an acknowledgment that my requests were received. I have also experienced repeated unwanted interactions from individuals I had previously encountered on other dating platforms. In addition, I have reported situations involving users creating new accounts after being blocked, as well as incidents involving fake profiles and apparent impersonation. In some cases, it appeared that accounts were being created specifically to contact me after previous interactions had already ended. These were serious concerns that I attempted to report, which made the lack of response from support even more frustrating. When users are dealing with account issues, verification problems, repeated unwanted contact, or suspected impersonation, there should be a reliable way to reach someone for assistance. I understand that dating platforms need moderation systems, security measures, and verification requirements. However, users should not be left completely in the dark when they lose access to their accounts and are unable to resolve the issue through normal channels. I hope Plenty of Fish improves its customer support, communication, moderation review process, and account recovery system so users can receive help when they actually need it. At this point, I am less concerned with receiving a public response to this review and more concerned with seeing these issues addressed. If meaningful improvements are made regarding support responsiveness, account recovery, verification problems, and the handling of reports involving unwanted contact or impersonation, I would be happy to update my review to reflect that experience.

Waste of money. Paid for a subscription but it never went through. Took my money then kept saying to upgrade to see who likes you. Tried getting a refund but nothing. Decided to just delete my account and call it a waste of money.

Fake People. Absolutely Terrible App

Yeah not if you’re around 19-25. EVERYONE is older than 40 and all of the younger accounts never respond. If you like the senior home good for you but if you’re looking for someone around your age this is not it. I got someone in their 80s 😔

Avoid. I’m going to give you a 100% honest rating. As a guy I had matches every so often but I will tell you the one feature that you need to keep an eye on. You’ll be going through recommendations and people that live near you or meet your ideal match parameters but what you need to watch for is there’s a section where it shows you the last time that that person was online and some of them haven’t been on the app in one year so you’re actually liking someone that isn’t even active. So beware, and just like all the other apps you have to pay to play.

Paywall Galore. I downloaded this app because I figured it would be a good place to start. Within 24 hours, I had 500 “likes” - but couldn’t see any of them unless I paid the subscription fee. A friend convinced me to go for it - but now I can’t clear the guys off the list unless I individually block every single one I want to “dislike”. This is HORRIBLE and just a money grab… all for no compatible matches.
