Support is awful. Had things break on the app a few times such as the consistency challenge and support just refuses to help you terrible customer service

Constant ask for more $$. Awful dating app for men. 90% of women I was shown were very overweight (I’m fit, easy on the eyes) or very unattractive. I wouldn’t look at twice in a bar setting. Tested it by liking and messaging a very mediocre woman in every respect and she wasn’t interested. She was a 3 compared to 7-8s I normally see. I think attractive women here are after top 5% of men or bots. Was seeking LTR outside my social circle

Crazy. I get punishing people for being on apps under 18 but now I’m 24 years old and I can’t use the app because of a stupid mistake as a child

Angry Female. I was banned from the app. Reached out to customer service and no response on why I was banned.

Still kinda bad. This app hides your profile without notifying you. I only found out because when I tried using a boost on the web version, it clearly said my profile had been hidden the entire time and that I needed to verify my account to be visible again. I completed the verification process, but my profile still appears hidden. I haven’t received a single like, and I’m a real person. — Next, why is this app only recommending me to Trans and Men? Why isn’t it showing me to people in my preference? It has been doing this for months. Not a single woman ever swiped on me. All were either trans or men. It doesn’t even show me in the card deck otherwise I would be getting 100s of actual matches. This app just keeps getting worse.

Worst app every. They banned me, I reported someone and I ended up banned. Tinder lets anybody join and talk crazy worst dating app

Go meet people IRL. This app functions the same way slot machines and online gambling services do. Go out and meet people IRL. Both men and women would benefit from these apps dying.

This is clearly an ongoing problem and nobody has thought to fix it. Tinder never sends me notifications when I get messages. AT ALL. Tinder you blow. I have two matches both saying hello. I get banned for what ? The appeal sucks no response. Bumble and hinge is 1000% better Tinder using my location it was set at ten miles and I kept seeing people thousands miles away. Setting don’t work. TINDER SUCKS

Shadow Banned. Tinder shadow banned me for no reason and not showing my profile to anyone. I had Tinder in the past and within minutes I start to get profile likes. I had my account for over 12 hours this time and I have zero likes. When I reached out to support they said there was nothing they can do and to change my profile pics and update my bio which is bs. I downloaded the sister app bumble and BOOM started to get likes on bumble immediately. So I know it’s not an issue with my profile photos or bio. Tinder is purposely blocking my profile and idk why!

Antisocial. People just don’t really talk or have any conversations

Banned for no reason. I was never given a reason other than my husband was in my profile picture. I am poly and other profiles had their spouse in their pic. Tinder get better

Don’t even try. They definitely restrict men’s account while women have priority in mot terrible I do fairly well irl in the dating scene however on tinder it sucks I haven’t gotten a match in years while other apps preform much better I wouldn’t waste my time personally.

Designed not to work. it literally is designed not to work. All they do is beg you for money and lead you on to believe you’re gonna get a match, but you’re not. It's a dead dating site.

App. Well I have been on tinder since early on. On it off and on, but I most likely won’t be back. You used to be able to have a lot more access without having to pay. It is a worse than it used to be

tinder sucks for gender non conforming folk. it’s very much made with only cis people in mind. i can’t even change my name which is ridiculous. this issue doesn’t only affect trans people, it could affect anyone. hate your name? have fun contacting support trying to get them to change it. we were definitely an afterthought for this company. it basically asks you which gender you want to be viewed as when you identify, and while that might sound helpful, it ends up sticking us right back into the binary that we might not feel welcome in. I switched to Hinge many years ago and am so glad I did. So many more inclusive options that aren’t stuck behind a paywall, the ability to freely change your name, users being encourage to list their sexuality really helps, it’s just miles better.

Read why you shouldn’t pay. I just paid $18.99 for one week of Tinder Gold because I had about 65 likes that I wanted to see. It turned out that about 60 of them were from other countries!

Pretty much a scam. You will see. Sign up for free account. You will get around 10 or more likes which you can not see. Sign up for gold account and they will all be fake. Settings dont work so you will get many matches from 8000 miles away. Not photo verified are all fake. Photo verified many are fake. But it was when I let subscription run out and same da get around 10 likes that now I believe tinder has people actively faking. They should be investigated for fraud

Boring app. Unrelatable atmosphere

Can’t even get the app to work. Started creating a profile and it got stuck on the “block contacts” page. No way to exit out. Every time I open the app it opens to that screen and freezes.

You can do better people. Lamest app.. pathetic way to swipe left or right. Shallow way to meet anyone for who they truly are.

They Gate Your Likes. They purposefully gate you being able to see your likes after you purchase tinder gold. Within the last hour I’ve had 8 like notifications and any time I go to my likes it shows “0 new likes”. Just another way for them to scam money out of you by making you keep your subscription and keeping you from actually matching

I downloaded this and decided to try the paid version, did not put anything lewd or explicitly, writhing 2 minutes of confirmation of purchase looked at my phone and account was banned? Never got an exact reason, can not log in to cancel subscription, now having to dispute it with my bank. 100% would NOT recommend

Broken app after visiting Los Angeles. Visited L.A. one single time and now my app is completely broken. Can’t get rid of this “Events beta” page for a city I don’t even live in. Tinder claims “Events” are only for people who are photo verified and living in L.A. and I am neither of those things, all I did was visit the city. “Explore” page only shows up when I delete and redownload the app, but if I close the app and reopen it after redownloading, the “Explore” page turns back to the L.A. “Events beta” page. Plus I have my hometown location selected as well so the problem is not there, and I still see people from near my hometown and yet I still have this tab for a city that’s 3000 miles away from me. So I will be deleting my account and switching to another platform because I have tried every solution, logging out and back in, account deletion, leaving the city, and not one of those have been successful. Fix your app, especially something as fundamental and basic as someone’s actual location, this is a dating app after all so that part is pretty important.

Bots. Last 10 matches were fake profiles

Crashing app. The app keep crashing every time I press on it. It takes me right back to the home screen. Tinder need to fix it.

Horrible all around. Over priced, taking away features (loops), won’t review my verification

Political preference. Not allowing ppl specifically women able to see political affiliation anymore is not ok in this political climate. It’s helping your bottom line for matches but it’s a safety concern for women. Making women match with men who voted against our HUMAN rights and don’t respect women to make your app seem more successful is shameful. Bring back the political preference. Dating is scary enough for women, now we have to gamble if they believe we have rights and beyond that.

Support is useless. Decided to try a month of Tinder Gold, but if I tried to use the Rewind feature, I’d get prompted to upgrade my subscription to Gold. Reached out to support, and the only solution they offered was to delete and reinstall the app. Since I’m not 90, I already knew to try this, and it didn’t work. Their final email said “We are unable to provide any additional support” and they refused to refund the subscription fee.
