The app genuinely helps lonely people and even pulls some out of dark moods, and the intimacy-level and coin system is thoughtfully built. But phone calls don't match the texts or the pictures or the character, and memory is weak, so conversations quickly go in circles and get boring. Many are annoyed that the supposedly free entry hits a subscription wall almost immediately.
