The built-in Apple Calendar works as an event address book until it breaks. Users regularly have all their data vanish. This is not an isolated case: several reviews describe the complete destruction of years of history. Reminders do not fire without the app open. Sync loses history. Search works inconsistently. Given its built-in status, the product remains technically unreliable.
