Behind the product-scanner facade people hit manipulation: the app asks for five stars before you have used it even once, which also explains the fake high store rating. Then comes a long intrusive quiz about income and personal data, forced consent to receive a product, and only then a paid subscription. The scan barely works and invents results: it finds ingredients that are not there in 100% almond butter.
