A sweet idea, raising a shared virtual pet with a friend or partner and keeping a widget on your screen, and people genuinely enjoy it. But the economy is tuned so hard that coins are painful to earn, pets get hungry every 30 minutes, and ads pop up literally every time you come back to the app, sometimes without paying out the promised reward. A couple of people hit a fake malware ad and nearly got signed up for a paid plan by accident.
