SoFi tries to be a bank, broker, and crypto wallet all at once, but reliably handles none of those roles: promo bonuses are not paid out, IPO allocations are opaque, and the support chat crashes when you try to use it. The idea of combining everything in one place is appealing, but execution is rough enough to outweigh the convenience.
