The idea of virtual treks, where you cross a route through a country and earn medals and planted trees for milestones, genuinely inspires people and keeps them moving. But the app itself is old and clunky, its layout stuck on iPhone 5 size, it lags, crashes and has to be reinstalled. On top of that, syncing with Apple Watch, Apple Health and Garmin keeps breaking, and manually entering completed miles often does not work.
