In reality this is an educational simulation of how the baby looks week by week and how to read an ultrasound, not a belly scanner, but it's framed so that crowds of people believe the phone actually scans their pregnancy. Hence the anger: it shows a pregnancy even for a man or a non-pregnant friend, and feels like a scam. Almost everything is also locked behind payment, only one week is free, there's no trial, and the price is out of line with their own disclaimer that it's for entertainment only.
