The strength is layering and mixing sounds: people drag sources around a board and tune it to themselves, and one person with high-frequency hearing loss found here the only way to mask the ringing in their ears. The weakness is a thin set, only about twenty sounds with no variations, and the paid unlock adds disappointingly little. Technical glitches separately annoy: the widget fails to load, AirPlay playback cuts off at exactly twenty minutes, and after the app sleeps a loud clip interrupts the noise.
