People come for a simple background hum to fall asleep on the road or drown out someone else's noise, and the basic fan sound genuinely helps a few of them. But most substantive reviews land on one thing: to listen longer than a couple of minutes or open a second sound you have to sit through ad after ad, and the sound set is thin and feels too flat and artificial. Several people just tell you to open YouTube instead.
