Not worth it. My emails is always flooded with notifications saying I hand a message. Finally broke down to check it because this app is unnecessarily expensive and when you go to check all these messages there isn’t even anything there. They bait you into paying an extreme amount of money for nothing. Do not use this app

Not sure abt this app. It sucks that you can’t see at least a few messages.

Irritating Pop Up!. Whatever you’ve done to this app to have it send a pop up ad each time I swipe left makes me want to never spend another dime on it to maintain a subscription! I guess when enough people cancel their membership then you make common sense updates to it!

Too much advertising. The pop ups the boost yourself, the advertising of other app options is too much. I paid for an account and would have to pay to view privately!!! This site is horrible

Disappointed. This cite has not proven to be worth a paid subscription in which I regret buying. Nothing here!! they can’t even manage logistics. It’s all about them selling you something else.

Keep cropping pics to only head shots. Use to be on here years ago. Now trying this again it keeps cropping my pics to only head shots. I put extra headshots on the site. Can’t show my full body and I’m fully clothed. Heck with it too many others.

Website and app are not in sync. The app doesn’t reflect what I see on the website. Ughhhhhh

Horrible. BPM is nothing more than a Match.Com clone. This site, Iike many others post old / inactive profiles which in itself is very misleading and borderline criminal. Thank God I only joined for a month. Buyer Beware!

Black People Meet. After a third attempt of finding love on BPM I am convinced this is not the app for me. Upon joining it won’t be long before your mailbox is overflowing with likes and messages 99+ in less than a week and every time you open it up you’re being urged to become a paid member $30 a week is ridiculously expensive. The app malfunctions often and that in itself becomes extremely frustrating especially after becoming a paid member. There’s no customer support whatsoever. Now if there’s a positive this is it: I live in a decent size city in NC and like I said this is my third try. The same women that was on here the first two times are still on there but if you live in say Georgia, DC, Maryland, NY, in order words a major metropolitan city your chances for finding love greatly increases. North Carolina not so much. They’ve sucked the last money out of my wallet. My experiences has netted me 0 results.

Scammers. I deleted this app over three months ago ago and they are still trying to withdraw money from my account I have tried everything to get their attention to make them stop so as of right now I can’t put any money in that account account and my draft fees are now up to $196 dollars please STOP

Money hungry. If I met a woman in a grocery store I wouldn’t have to pay the grocery store for creating the moment! So why should I pay to do that here?🤔

Discrimination. I recently tried to sign up after downloading the app and was denied access after I logged in and submitted pictures I’m not sure why because I’ve done nothing inappropriate however I shouldn’t be discriminated against when I’m applying to the app like everyone else.

Banned For Unknown Reasons. Peace & blessings all‼️Signed up yesterday and a few minutes after creating the account I was banned for no known reason. Reached out to customer service to ask why and no reason was provided. However my account being banned is the final decision according to the customer representative. Makes no sense to ban someone and not let them know what they did incorrectly to get to this point. Unfair treatment however I will respect that and keep it pushing positively. Just be mindful family when using this app.

My account got blocked within an hour. I put barely any info, sent a few likes, had nothing crazy or wild in my profile and my account got blocked. Stupidest app ever.

Activate account. I’ve had this app before pay to renew yet to get it updated. Very hard to get help. nothing but run around they have my money and won’t start the account.

Disappointed. This is a whole bunch of nothing, there’s no incentive to want to even purchase a subscription. It’s set up to only get paid subscriptions.

Why capitalize. Overrated

New upgrade. I really wanted to like BlackPeopleMeet, but the user experience is frustrating. Every single time you pass on someone, it immediately asks if you want to boost — which gets very annoying, very fast. It feels pushy instead of enjoyable. Also, the timeline isn’t consistent, so you can’t clearly tell who viewed your profile. On top of that, there’s no easy, centralized place to see messages, which makes communication confusing. Overall, the platform could be much better with a smoother layout and fewer constant upsell prompts.

Pay. I don’t like this app you gotta pay to send messages like I don’t get it. This app is stupid.

Bad changes. They’ve taken away the remove looks. Keep pestering the boost. Leave likes when you just look at woman.

Horrible, too many catfish. There are too many catfish on the side. I see the same people cat fishing. Too many people lying about their profile they say one thing and it bullies another. So many men on this site that are married or separated, and they are not afraid to say that. It’s gotten really bad as the end of this membership.

Not Really. It seems there is little interest in actually connecting…plenty of “matches” but little actual connecting and even less IRL meeting… New name: “Black-People-who-say-they-want-to-Meet”

Unrealistic. Candidates seemingly forgot how to talk with each other like they used to do in the past.

Terrible. Was blocked by the app an hour after signing up smh with no explanation its like they stole my information and block me out from deleting it or accessing

Waste of time. You have to pay to read your messages, so what’s even the point then pay to play.

Can’t talk to matches. Why do I have to pay to have conversations I can see paying to see who like yu but to have a conversation is crazy app trash for that I can’t talk to nobody that I matched with unless I pay first ? Yeah right deleting this app no wonder you never hear about this app like the others tried to give it a chance but I see now why it’s not a top choice

No Customer Service to support this app. The Standard subscription works for a few months then you’re unable to reply to your likes unless you upgrade to premium service, which is more money. Emails to the company never solves the problem, even when you prepaid for six months of standard service.

Horrible. This app wants to charge you for everything you can’t see who like you can’t send messages. You can’t basically do anything on here without paying.

Upgrade, basic communications, bad example. I pay for regular service, to see and communicate with current ladies on this site. I can’t do this unless I pay for an upgrade,Why do have to pay for a upgrade, to do this????. STOP making customer pay for the basic communications, to make contact.

Waste of $70. You have to pay to view messages, there are hardly any interactions between users. It’s a dead zone all the time. The way I want my money back right now.

What's a girl to do?!?. Dating in the real world today is frustrating enough, but spending 30 minutes to create a profile only to find out that you need a subscription to have any success on this app is very disappointing. What's the point in me wasting almost $40 on a subscription that I know might not be successful? While scrolling through the candidates, most of them had a dealbreaker for me then when I tried to narrow down the number of people I saw by dialing down the distance I received zero candidates. However, I kept receiving notifications that multiple people were messaging me, liking me, but I couldn’t even view them to see if I was interested, because I had to have a subscription to view messages. I mean, I understand it but at least give someone a day or two free trial to see if the app is worth spending $40 on.
