Date and Time Stamp Errors Could Be Catastrophic. The exercises in this app look amazing, but the date and time stamps are very off. An entry I posted on 9/1 was dated 8/1, and a reply from my partner for today 9/11 was dated 8/24. This is a disaster as it lends the appearance of neglect. I’m very angry over this, because it has the protential to ruin a relationship at the same time that it intends to repair one. Understanding the timing of interaction is mission critical, and the app makers should obviously know this. The app makers are taking on a very serious role here that demands responsibility. They could ruin marriages through carelessness. Use with caution. Added 9/30/2025 - Each time I open the app I get an indicator of unread messages. I open them anticipating a response from my partner and instead find that they’re my own messages, which I’ve obviously already read. We’re working through the communications module. The app reports that my partner has done exercises in a later release of the module . 1) If the app were well designed, this would not be possible, but 2) when I do go to the updated module, I learn that my partner has NOT done exercises in the later release. Again, this app is very buggy in mission critical places. Use with caution. This is a good idea for an app, and we will continue to use it for now, but the bugs are toying with our emotions as we try to fix our relationship. The app is suboptimal. We’ll see if it does more harm than good.

Couldn’t even get started. I was interested in using Lasting to work on my relationship, but I couldn’t even make it past the sign-up process. Every password I created was labeled “weak,” even when I used long, complex combinations with numbers, symbols, and uppercase letters. After multiple attempts, I gave up. It’s frustrating to have an app meant to improve communication and connection become a source of stress before I can even see what it offers. I hope they update their password requirements and sign-up process so people can focus on the actual relationship work instead of wrestling with account creation.

Unable to cancel subscription. Buyer beware. It is near impossible to cancel the subscription once you purchase. The app sends you to the website. The website sends you to the app.

Terrible technical support plus high price. The app is terrible. It crashes when launching a link from the emails which indicate a new session of therapy is available to sign up for attending. When I contacted technical support, Taylor was singularly unhelpful, and the app issue is still unresolved. I even took and sent in a screen recording of the app when I click on the link in email, but to no avail, the issue is still unresolved. Many of the therapists seem competent, and a few had EXCELLENT and well presented sessions… I stuck with Lasting because of that but I am canceling because I cannot access content for which I paid. 0/10 for the app, and it’s even more annoying that there is no website in which to access content. 7.5/10 for the therapist sessions—when accessible.

Giant FAIL if you aren't an East Coast subscriber. Unless you are unemployed, the live events aren't timed for viewing in time zones MST or PST. The first lesson exercises are ok. After that, they ho off course. Plus NOT ALL LIVE EVENTS are made available after the live event. Unacceptable!!!! Plus emails to their "Customer Service" go unanswered. They don't cover so many other relationship real issues. Canceled after 6 pathetic months.

Unable to begin. Couldn’t even create an account. Would create a password that was “very strong” according to the password strength meter, but as soon as I’d click “sign up with email” I’d be prompted with a “Please select a stronger password” error box. Tried a few times and went into reviews and I’m not the only one who had this problem. Also, subscription cancelling issues and a whole hose of other issues. Sounds like the app used to be good though…too bad I’ll never know.

Worst app ever. Cant even contact through email, keeps saying to flag the app.. and apple doesnt even provide a refund

Can’t get past the password page. Would love to give the actual app a review but I’ve tried 20 different passwords and it keeps deleting them and saying try a stronger password and won’t let me create an account. I’ve tried lowercase, uppercase, numbers, symbols and no matter what I try it says it’s not strong enough even though it says it is very strong when I type it in under the password box. Hopefully this will get fixed so I can login and give the app a try!

Poor App Functionality. The content is great, but inaccessible do to constant app malfunctions

Important Warning About this App!. Horrible experience!! At first I was thrilled that my girlfriend suggested this app. I was going through the exercises and reviewing the answers she shared but as I continued on I started realizing that the answers she was giving to the questions did not pertain to me or our relationship. I realized that she was talking about her ex-boyfriend Bryan! As good of a concept that this application has and as much development I’m sure you guys have put into this thing, you forgot a critical step. You need to give people the option to delete their prior history or use of the application. This realization has really take the wind out of my sails. I don’t feel “special” anymore. I honestly feel like I’m just another guy the next guy that she’s doing this doing this with now. Very disappointing!

Spouse can’t create an account. I’ve had no issues using this app but my husband downloaded it the same day as me and hasn’t been able to create an account. It keeps telling him to “provide a stronger password” even though it meets all the password criteria. Since he can’t create an account, he can’t pair with me, essentially making this app useless. I’ve contacted the app support and have gotten no response. Glad I didn’t sign up for the premium account. I’ll continue my search for a better app.

App won’t even work for IPhone. Been trying to download and create a new account , it states I’m an existing user and that’s false information . Tried again with my back up email now says the same exact thing. This app is a waste of time and there’s no way to get help good luck to anyone who’s having the same issue I did .

Bad way to operate a business. I didn't order or subscribe, but I did download your app. I only wanted to look at it to see if it was what I needed. I saw where you are going to charge me. I have not used it. I never permitted you to charge my card, but you did! Also, I can not see a phone number to speak with anyone about it. This is the only way.…

Good app. Overall I like the app, but it keeps messing up and having to restart all the time

Not worth it. I signed up with a discounted membership for myself and my spouse. Since day one there were buggy issues with the app. Not only am I not able to access most of the apps features, but customer service has been nonexistent. I tried so many different ways to resolve the buggy issues with the app and to no avail. I sent a request three times over the last six months and not one agent has been able to resolve the issues my partner and I are experiencing with the app. Issues include: Live Workshops does not load any content, Daily Activity does not update, and Conversations cannot be seen by the other party. The only content we have been able to access was on-demand videos and instructional course content. The course content has nothing new or innovative. You can find this information practically free on the internet or thru other guided workshops that don’t cost as much as this yearly membership here. Overall, this has been a waste of time and money for my spouse and I. Agents have not been helpful.

No way to preview the app/service without creating an account. Firstly, this is not a review about the apper service. There’s no way I can be as the developer doesn’t allow any kind of a preview without requiring potential users to create an account. For those of us who are security/privacy, conscious, this approach simply doesn’t work. Considering the level of information and content that users will be sharing, it’s interesting that developers won’t help potential new users to see if the service/app: 1 - give us the chance to evaluate the features and functions of the app to see if it will work for us, and 2 - see how our personal information is used through the interactions in the app BEFORE creating an account. Sure, you can go to the site and read the privacy policies, but how many users will actually do that, or will even understand what it all means? There are other relationship counseling apps and services that do offer a preview, this allowing users to understand the functionality and features, and get familiar with how our data is used in the app & service. I’ll check those options before signing up blindly for a service that may not even be able to help.

Endless problems. I recently installed Lasting but am facing endless problems trying to use it. When I first opened the app, I got an error message saying the app couldn't connect to the server. I tried a while later, the app opened, and I tried to make an account, but the system said there's already an account with my email address. I don't know how that's possible, since I've never used Lasting before. I then tried making an account using a permutation of my email address, but got a 'processing' animation that went on forever, so I thought the app had crashed. I force-closed the app then opened it again, entered my login details, and got the same 'processing' animation that went on forever. I don't know if those login details were registered in the system, and there's no "forgot password" option in the app to check or change my password. I then tried accessing my account using the Lasting website, but the "My Account" page returns an error message ("We couldn't find the page you were looking for"). I give up.

DO NOT USE. This app will take your money even if you cancel the subscription. They have charged me over $50 for a subscription that I canceled well before the due date. They have stolen my information and caused me to have to close my bank account. DO NOT USE.

Saves old relationship profiles. Decided to take a step in the right direction to seek self help and try something different with relationship support and counseling with this app. Only problem is that when I linked my partner, it shows all the sessions he completed with his previous relationship. That relationship is a failed marriage. It’s great to know that he and his former spouse were brave and determined enough to seek help, only problem is the failed part. That relationship ended very badly and now has greatly affected his ability to have a healthy relationship with me. *reasons I’m seeking help at this time. Not this developers drama or issues, except that the glaring historical records that are stored and shared within the app now presents a lot of questions whether this counseling is effective and just put a whole discouraging aspect into my brave attempt to try something different and move in the right direction towards counseling thru relationship issues. I would suggest that previous history should not be displayed unless the user requests it to be.

This doesn’t help partners to work together. I don’t understand how this app helps. I feel it creates more conflict

Verification code. I enjoy the app but My husband can’t join as the verification code doesn’t work.

Impossible to unsubscribe. We have been trying to turn off the subscription, but cannot find it and support is unhelpful. We found the app helpful to open and structure the dialog, but no longer use it.

TRACKS YOUR PERSONAL INFO, and has monthly fee. A- there’s a monthly fee. If I wanted to pay a fee I’d just go to a real therapist, not not play a game I have to pay a monthly fee for. It would be cheaper to see a real therapist or just buy a couples game off Amazon. B- they track your personal information, locations, shopping habits, etc. Creepers. Since you’re charging people so much money at least let us maintain our privacy. It’s ridiculous that you need so much of our personal info. Hard pass.

Daily question stopped working. I’ve been using this app since late last winter/ spring. The daily questions have just stopped prompting. Feel like they took advantage and I’m not getting my moneys worth now.

Changes answers to cause conflict. My husband and I filled this out and they changed BOTH of our answers and even inserted questions I was never asked nor did I answer. My guess is they do this to spark more conflict and hope that you will go for their paid services. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves.

DO NOT SIGN UP. This app stole my money. The 7 day “free” trial lasted for 5 days. When I went to cancel it, it had charged me for THREE months. I will (hopefully) be able to file a complaint and get refunded what they stole.

kept charging me after i cancelled. was continuously charged and when i contacted support they did not give me a full refund for my unauthorized charges. they could only refund the last 3 months not the other months i was charged for; and i wasnt even using the app because it still said free account even though i was being charged
