Chispa: Dating App for Latinos

There’s no point. For you to even use this app you have to pay for everything, everything is overpriced specially for someone in college. If you wanna go broke, trying to find someone who doesn’t even really like you use this app.

Distance. Keeps showing me people that are hundreds of miles away from my location.

Bad for no reason. I downloaded Chispa and used it for less than an hour before the app crashed. When I attempted to log back in, I was informed that my account had been disabled. I immediately contacted customer support and submitted an appeal, but I received only a generic response with no explanation of what policy I supposedly violated. This is especially frustrating because I had barely used the app. I had not messaged anyone, my photos were recent and authentic, and my profile information was accurate. Despite submitting multiple appeals, I never received a clear explanation or any meaningful assistance. The lack of transparency and customer support is extremely disappointing. I also have no confirmation that my photos and personal information have been removed from their system. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this app. There are far better dating apps that treat their users with more respect and provide actual customer service. Worthless. So many bugs, can’t login, the subscription is not honor, keeps telling one to upgrade when it’s been done. The price is crazy for a worthless app but is expected from these creators, only steeling money from people.

Not a great app. This app is a waste of time. It logged me out and now I can’t get back in to close this account.

You have to pay to see who likes you. Can’t message anyone unless you pay

Fake App with Scam. It’s a Fake App just looks for subscription and you will never meet any likes . It’s non refundable subscription. All they need is buying tokens for fake images and videos. All location specific people seem to be fake and highly suspicious. It’s run by group of scammer

DO NOT UPGRADE using Apple Pay!!!. The app has an architectural flaw in its billing system. When you click 'Manage Subscription' inside the app, it forces you to the Apple ID Subscriptions page. However, because you paid via Apple Pay directly to Chispa (Match Group) instead of a standard App Store In-App Purchase, it will NOT show up on your Apple ID list. You will be completely locked out of standard cancellation, trapping you in an automatic renewal cycle. The only way to stop it is to go into your Apple Wallet app, select your credit card, click the three dots (...), choose 'Preauthorized Payments,' and manually revoke Chispa's authorization token. App mechanics are disappointing, predatory, and designed to capture your funds without providing basic billing infrastructure."

Shameless SCAM!!. If you don’t pay you won’t match

Laggy. Ever since I bought a purchase in the app the app won’t stop crashing like it keeps saying “oops!” And nothing loads and I already deleted it once and everything was smooth but then it’s crashing again and I deleted it once again and it still does not work

Questionable User Base. I gave Chispa a fair chance, but my experience was disappointing. I matched with multiple women and never received a single reply. At the same time, I kept getting notifications that people liked my profile, yet many of those likes never turned into actual matches or conversations. I have to keep it professional but I will say from swiping I was just disappointed with my options.

Banned my account for no reason and no explanation. Went to try and match one day, opened up the app and it requires to me log back in and when I enter my phone number showed unavailable to log in. Contacted customer support now information

Can’t get into my account. The app is so buggy and glitches so much and I have to delete it and redownload it 10 times. Now I can’t even get into my account

Don’t use!. This app sales your indicator match and they automatically create you and account with them and vice versa. So most profiles are from other platforms and there is so many fake profiles on here with no screening.

Need an update. I just to use the app in the past was better now the matches and the messages are mixes there’s not way you can message without scrolling you can’t even find more people more matches the messages disappear . Message should be in one section only and matches in different place and at least a filter for the messages .

Rip off. They should name is app Torta

Closeness/nearby. No matter what you put as radius, they’ll give you a couple and mind you I paid for this app but all the women I find are over 100 miles away. If you’re not willing to travel past 50 miles I wouldn’t bother.

Poor app. This app has a lot of crashes. Just bought the one week subscription to see the 99+ likes that I had and it keeps giving me an error message. I have been on and off this app for the same reason too many crashes.

Lame. Every person on here seems to be a dam bot. I’ve never run into any of my likes. They try and force you to buy the unblur and see who likes you feature. And when you do it be a bunch ppl who wouldn’t like anyways!

Political Garbage. Someone banned my account because of who I supported politically. Can’t even appeal to get it back. She also made death threats to who I supported. I ensured the US Dept of Defense knew about it…Trash app with sensitive individuals STAY AWAY!

Funciona mal la distancia. El app te exige si o si pagar ni lo más básico te permite y si no pago no me deja ver personas cerca de Mi, todas a 200 millas, pongo el filtro a máximo 35 millas pero igual me muestra la gente a 200 millas.

Not letting me log in... It is not letting me create an account.. it keeps telling me “OOPS that wasn’t suppose to happen” all the time!!

Not safe. I made an account and somehow my pictures and email got taken by match dating and they created a whole profile using my info. These two apps are not secure enough and shouldn’t be aloud to do this to people

Logged out. I got logged out with an “sms login unavailable” after having my account less than a day and without having texted anyone. Contacted customer service multiple times and they only send you 1 email a day. Eventually just got sent a ban appeal form even though I never got notice of a ban nor did I do anything or even have enough time to do anything to get banned. Buggy app with horrible customer service!!

Scammers. This app signed me up for Match.com without me knowing and charged me 4 times in the amount of $20. It was set up as a recurring bill.

Scam. Paid twice for subscription didn’t get subscription. Chispa refuses to give me back my money.

Lost Profile. I had a great time on there however, on the new update you can’t login in with your phone number so I lost my whole account 😫

Horrible service. I paid for a subscription only to not even be able to login the next day & have to go through chat bots that tell me to follow the instructions given . No love support what so ever I WILL NEVER WASTE MY TIME ON THIS BS APP EVER AGAIN WASTE OF MONEY ! No real customer support

Expensive. Expensive and all the profiles are no good because people don’t want to keep paying for this app. It’s not easy to use and not worth it

not a legitimate dating app. This app is designed to scam people and steal their money. a ton of fake accounts and it will make subscription purchases without your consent then apple will deny a refund

Pay Pay Pay. Of course men have to pay for everything. I know of an international dating app that way better with hotter chicks.

Zero stars. When the app was in beta phase it was pretty awesome better than any other app now is a different situation low to no conversations unless you’re spending money on the app

SCAM. For months this app wasn’t allowing me to login . Once it allowed me to it showed that my account was “disabled” . I contacted customer service only to be told that their decision was final and my account would not be opened again. I did NOTHING at all . Just tried logging in weekly when this app would not allow logins for about 3 months . Please look a different way when searching for dating apps .

Awful. This is the worst dating app that I have experienced. Fake people for sure. Bad, uneducated people there…. I feel is fake. They just want your $$$… AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I gave one star cause I can’t give less than that! Awful

Purchase Restoration problems. The app is incredibly glitchy and there really isn’t much of a selection when it comes to members. I wanted to restore a purchase I made, but the app kept giving me an error prompt when I tried restoring the purchase and even contacting support. In the end, support wasn’t able to help me and I just got tired of dealing with it. If you aren’t in an area that predominantly Hispanic, I don’t recommend it. Even a place like Tampa has very limited profiles.
