Banned. I was banned while trying to explain to someone how the app worked…..

Banned immediately. I would have loved to use the app but I immediately got banned after putting my real age and using my real passport where the claimed I had sent inappropriate messages?

I got banned. I got perm banned for no reason I didn’t even have a chance to make an account

God awful👎. App was pretty awful to me. First of all I genuinely wasn’t seen by anyone despite being verified and with boosts, I simply just wasn’t seen. Secondly I tried logging into my account on my other device and it says I need to verify, so I do, and it proceeds to tell me that my face doesn’t match the picture I just took of myself in the light, like cmon man. And lastly, I deleted that account to make anew one, I try to restore my subscription and guess what? I’m met with an error, of course I am. This app is god awful and I hate it for taking my money, I want a refund for the month I bought and can’t even access.

Great app, until my ban for no reason. I was using it daily for like 8 months, then, I was logged out, as I tried to log back in, it said I had been banned. Why, Wizz, why?

Photo verification. Literally all the photos im using of MYSELF, wizz is saying is not me or isnt a clear picture of me when my entire face is in the camera. And then I get banned for hours because None of my pictures work like

I got banned for no reason. I was only trying to log in and as I was doing the verification check with a picture of myself it suddenly kicked me out so f the app. When I tried to log in again it said I had been banned. I don’t understand why because the picture was a picture of me soo.

Verification sucks.. I spent 20 minutes trying to verify my STATE DRIVERS LICENSE and it refused to work.

I got banned for just trying to log in. app says i was being inappropriate when i didn’t even get to finish logging in and i’m above the age requirement. Nobody’s getting back to me I’m confused..

It literally told me to give my id then it banned me. It was literally fine at first like I had a account and everything, but the age and stuff was messing up and then when it told me to do my ID I did my ID. It didn’t work the first time so then when I did it the second time it literally banned me no explanation or nothing. It just say banned.

I can’t even get in. I’m 18 and my appearance is well above my age in look. I have a full beard and heavily developed facial features and it still won’t let me in

money hungry. to start off secret chats used to be free but you had to watch an ad for them but now they cost coins that you have to buy to see them. And also almost every chat you get now is secret. And also the profile visibility thing is so stupid. You have to constantly be on the app and swipe to even receive requests. Wizz used to be a good app but it’s just gone way downhill

They banned me for no reason while I was signing up 😭✌🏽. So I just got my NY state ID earlier today. So I tried using my state ID to verify my age at Wizz. It took to many attempts until I finally got into the sign up page. I tried signing up through my Apple account and my main Gmail account, but it kept giving me error. So I tried signing up through my alt Gmail account. While I trying to setting up my new account, they kicked me out to log in page and BANNED me for NO REASON!?!?! So I’m giving this one star cuz I literally wasted my time trying to verify my age only to get banned while creating my new account. 😭✌🏽

App sucks. Just trying to create my account and it won’t let me add issues with the lighting, verifying my face and now it’s just stuck on adding photos and says i have to wait 48 minutes. Couldn’t even see what the apps about.

Banned. Got banned for sharing an “inappropriate photo” nothing inappropriate was ever shared I got banned for no reason and it won’t let me back on.

It’s not as good as. It literally won’t let me do anything,it keeps on saying that it rejects my content and it’s so frustrating

This app needs to be taken off the App Store for good. I have used this app since I’ve been supposedly banned on both my Google sign In & Apple Sign In On My IPhone 15 Pro; And The People On Wizz Are The Worst People You Can Possibly Imagine , They lie to you about literally everything from their age , martial status, location , etc there have been times when females on wizz told me to go kms,said awful and horrible things about me and my family, my life. I have reported these people on wizz but reporting them doesn’t really do anything at this point because wizz is completely broken. And the people on the app take advantage of that also there’s been times when females have threatened to hurt me in person, my family and sometimes say they’d outright end my life. This app has been very toxic , traumatizing, and horrifying to use and the wizz support is nowhere effective or efficient to deal with the problems I see other people talk about in the comments section of this app review thread .

Banning. IM BANNED FOR NO REASON I TRIED TO MAKE A ACCOUNT AND THE AGE VERIFICATION CRASHED ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES. THEN WHEN I RETRIED IT SAID I WAS BANNED??

Awful.. The moderation sucks. They use AI to detect ages and the restrictions are awful. My account got flagged for manual review and wanted to verify my face again but it says make sure there’s sufficient lighting and I have in many very bright spots. this app got so money hungry after it got sold. What a shame

Basically Unusable/Nonexistent Help. I used to use this app a lot a couple years ago and did not run into any issues. I’m using it again now and I can’t even use it due to some glitch where it says I receive a request or a dm, yet nothing appears on my account. Keep in mind, my account status says I have not been terminated. I’ve confirmed through another account that my messages didn’t even go through. The worst part is the fact that any time I try to get help on this, I just get the horrible ai bot helping me instead and never an actual human who can maybe look into the issue. I don’t think it’s worth using the app in this state it’s way too broken.

waste of time. age restricted me based on facial recognition, however i was logging back into my old account… i was then banned?!? redirected me to terms of service but did not mention anything about new facial scan policy, through reading other reviews apparently they updated to 18+, kinda weird considering the terms of service aren’t updated. why direct users there, an outdated site that has old rules. still trying to make sense of why i was banned. dont download

I can’t get any texts. nobody can text me , I can text people , but it’s like they don’t see my my feed is completely empty , I had my friend look up my account but it won’t pop up , I don’t get anything , but a message from Lina . something’s wrong , and I would really like for this to be looked into

What happened to this app. This app used to be for Teens adults get everything why did have to change it wizz really fell of its insane

Waist of time .. I’ve used this app for a little while just to test it out and my account got banned for no reason, I barely even used the app and one day I logged in and it said I was banned. Which I was confused because I barely even used it. So it just banned me for no reason and the app is generally just a waist of time.

Don’t use this app. Terrible app bans for no reason and gives u the same people over and over again

Banned for legitimately existing. I got banned twice. Quite literally for no reason. Not getting told what I did wrong (which I know for sure I didn’t hack nothing wrong). They banned my whole device so I can’t even make a new account. The paywall for the app to even function is literally ridiculous. This honestly is the most stupid app I on to Man. The Manuel review on my profile did nothing as well. Still been banned for like 4 days and the first time was for like a week

Verification?. You have to verify your photos but the scanner DOES NOT WORK NO MATTER WHAT I DO. IT JUST KEEPS SAYING "need more light" WHEN I LITERALLY HAVE EVERY SINGLE LIGHT TURNED ON + A RING LIGHT DIRECTLY IN MY FACE FIX IT

bad updates and verification needs to be removed. old wizz was better.. Wizz's age verification system feels unnecessary and frustrating because it can incorrectly estimate users' ages and lock them out of their accounts even when they entered their real age. The new age restrictions also make it harder for younger teens to connect with friends online. Many users preferred when Wizz was 13+, since it gave more teens a safe way to meet new people and socialize. Instead of relying so heavily on age estimation, Wizz should focus on better moderation and safety features while allowing responsible users ages 13 and up to access the platform.

Money Hungry to the Detriment of the App. I used to have Wizz a while ago, and honestly it was a lot of fun. I met a lot of people and actually enjoyed using it. But after recently downloading it again, the app has become almost unusable unless you’re willing to pay. It feels like 4 out of every 5 chats are hidden behind a paywall. They want you to pay a weekly subscription just to see who’s messaging you. First it was watching ads to unlock chats, then it became spending tokens, and now they’re just straight-up charging money for it. The worst part is that you have to wait days to earn enough tokens, and by the time you finally have them, they’ve found another way to push you toward paying. The app feels incredibly money-hungry now. You can’t even talk to most people because everything is locked behind some kind of paywall. On top of that, people seem to get banned randomly, which just makes the experience even more frustrating. What used to be a fun way to meet new people has turned into an app that’s constantly trying to squeeze money out of its users. It’s honestly not enjoyable anymore.

Don’t download. This app tends to trick people & blackmail I had a whole person try to blackmail me for 30 dollers 😂😂

Worst app. Top picks makes no sense when it’s for people who pay only, you never meet anyone on this app. Everyone just says “hiii” or “heyyy” then ghosts you. You’re lucky if they even read your text. Just delete the app or make super chats free again. I’m genuinely so over this app I tell everyone else not to use it.

Go back to normal. 1-10 bc they switched the age to 18+ so now teens can’t use it they should make it 14+
