Bumpy Greediness. Allow people who paid monthly subscription to actually message and like profiles. it makes no sense limiting us knowing we came here to communicate with each other you guys are so greedy it hurts the community.

Bad Service. From shadow bans to sudden loss of service while still in subscription period. This app does not treat its customers well and the support team rarely responds.

Nothing free. Only wants money for everything, Nothing free

Scamm😡😡😡. I gave it a try for a month but was disappointed. There was an excessive number of aggressive likes (over 4,500 in a single month!!!) coming from Africa, even though I had set my preferences to women in North America. Most of the women I chatted with were from Cuba, but they all suddenly stopped talking to me at the same time (very suspicious). I really don't feel comfortable spending my money on this app. It didn't inspire any confidence at all—quite the opposite, it actually made me suspicious—and from the research I've done, this is a common complaint among many users. These apps will do anything to get their hands on our money.

Nonsense. The application always gives me a ban for a whole month for no reason. What is this nonsense? I talk to customer service and they don't make any difference. This is really a shame on you.

This app will harass you. Every time someone see your profile, likes it and it doesn’t have a turn off feature so you can only get notified when you get a message or match. Additionally the men on here are no different than the ones on tinder so it’s honestly a waste of time

Worst dating app. After paying for my month subscription I got my account restricted 3x!!!!! Literally the first week. I’ve never cursed anyone, ever asked for or sent explicit content. After messaging women we would chat and exchange numbers and I would get banned each time for that. You cannot find love on this app if I could give this app -5 I would

Got restricted for no reason. I just joined bumpy and still navigating the app then suddenly i got restricted, what do i do??

Good idea. If you ever decide to stop paying that massive amount of money just now that they’re gonna remove everything that you already paid for

No safety at all. Photo verification is a joke. I talked to somebody for weeks who was “photo verified” he was a fraud. Don’t trust it for anything beyond language practice

Waste of time. Literally have to pay for anything you do outside of downloading the app. What a waste of time I’ll definitely be deleting the app

I’m not receiving any messages anymore, everyone is not talking on the Bumpy app no messages coming. All of a sudden, my messages stop coming. No one is replying my messages and nobody is sending me messages. I’m not receiving any messages on Bumpy.

Great Potential, But Support and User Controls Fall Short. 5/10 update. Overnight I suddenly had 9000 likes from countries not within my specified list. Normally would receive 2-3 per day and usually the people were real. Of the 9000 many seem to be fake or very stale accounts. Support stated they couldn’t fix it or do about it and I’d have to delete them manually. Note that this is a nearly impossible task since it’s to be completed one by one. Updating this 3/9/2026. The app seems to have been attacked my massive spambots. Overnight it was infiltrated and what appear to be thousands of fake spam profiles suddenly appeared. Hoping they can get this under control as in its current state it’s unusable since most accounts now seem fake or highly suspicious, it’s hard to know when there is a real one. I like the app overall, but one major limitation for me is the lack of location filtering controls. It would be really helpful to have the option to limit or filter contacts by country or region, since I am only interested in connecting with people in places I actually plan to visit. Right now, I receive a very large number of likes from locations I am not interested in, which makes it harder to focus on meaningful matches. I suggested this as a feature request, but it was dismissed quickly and not considered. Even basic country or region filters would greatly improve the user experience and help people connect more intentionally. Overall, the platform works well and I have had some good experiences using it. The biggest frustration for me is around the reporting and moderation process. It feels like reports can be submitted too easily, and when action is taken there is little transparency about what specifically triggered it. Support does not provide details about the exact content that violated the rules, which makes it hard to learn from the situation or avoid similar issues in the future. I understand the need for moderation and community standards, but more clarity and a basic explanation of what went wrong would go a long way toward making the process feel fair and constructive for users.

“Limited visibility” = banned for no reason. I have been shadow banned which they call “limited visibility” on this app with no use of bad language, no bad photos sent, no arguments. I try to be very polite. I have verified my account, Trying to correct this, I have contacted the support email three times with all information they would need to do a manual review. I’ve contacted the Instagram page. I have received no response. I would advise against subscribing. -this app worked great before I was limited/shadow banned. I travel internationally quite a bit and I was really looking forward to meeting some of the contacts I had made before they banned me. It’s unfortunate this is how you treat your paid subscribers. This is also my third review that I’ve written because they removed the first two.

Terrible. You don’t get people not even paying or using boosts, ran out of people in the UK, Ireland and Germany after swiping left like 3 times

My experience. The fact that I can’t even see anything after you guys have gotten all my INFORMATION is bogus. You can’t see who likes you or who’s viewed you, deletes the purpose of me even wanting to try the subscription.

Photo uploads don’t work. I use the same photos in every dating app. Bumpy can’t detect my face in any of my photos. Contacted support but they just blamed their broken image upload system. I guess I have a face that’s incompatible with bumpy 🤷‍♂️

Catfishing Paradise. This app is a haven for romance catfishing. Scams are 90% who you are going to be talking to. That fact it will not allow screenshots means you cannot use anti catfish software to verity. Be aware that most of Africa, Indonesia, Philippines, and Cuba are all scams.

Don’t believe the paid reviews, I make real ones. App has been terrible the last month, ads popping up everywhere, every 10 likes. I have 3000 likes and was getting matches everyday and now I haven’t got any in weeks. Had about 20 matches load up from months ago that must of never went through. The premium isn’t worth buying, it’s way too expensive. If you don’t have money to travel you will probably never meet anyone on here unless they have money to travel. And sooo many fake profiles or trans. They need their own separate spot cause they’re not girls. You have a better chance on hinge and just switching your location on there for free, plus you can message people before you match on hinge.

Paying to see who liked you. It will get to a point where you have to pay to see who likes you which shouldn’t be so

Not working. Won’t let me open the app and keeps glitching yet I can’t contact support

Waste of time. Don’t waste your money not worth it waste of time as many of the profiles are fakes eventhough they verified that is the company fake ones. I waste a hour reveal to have the person close the chat with no reply find a better app

Scammers galore. Too many scammers. People wanting money, gift cards, to have you pay for their internet, etc. They will try to get you to go to Whatsapp or other social media or chat options to avoid breaking Terms of Service on Bumpy. There may be a few decent ones on here but most are scammers that use relationships and emotional manipulation as a way to get your money. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. DO NOT GO OFF THE APP. They may also try guilt tripping you. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. The dating service is trash with Bumpy. Look elsewhere.

Account banned because I had too many likes I was swiping on people.. Got banned for swiping for all the likes I got a couple years ago. Just swiping that’s it. Defeats the purpose of a dating app.

Ripoff. You pay for gold membership and it only gives you 3 likes … if it’s free you can just watch ads to get more than 3 likes. Total ripoff !

Great for a while until…. This app was truly great especially in comparison to the other dating apps in the US. Yes there’s scammers, yes there’s fake account but there are also tons of real people. I was talking to women in Brazil, Philippines and Venezuela. Video calls with real people. I’d get dozens if not hundreds of views and bumps per day, it was a bit overwhelming and what I imagine a hot girl on bumble receives. Then one day it was if they turned it off. No warning, no questionable behavior, just zero contacts or views. I’ve emailed support multiple times and they say everything looks fine to just keep engaging and using the app. Paid boosts don’t work, nothing works. How do I go from endless bumps from women all over the world to zero overnight? Total bummer.

Terrible app. This app is a joke won’t let you upload pictures of yourself. Wants you to pay to meet scammers. That’s literally all you find on this site is scammers. Stay away from this app!
