0 matches. I’m not a bad looking guy, I’m tall and I’m actively using the app yet I have 0 matches despite coming across many girls I think I could get along with. I’m not sure if it’s just the algorithm or maybe how the app treats different people based on their subscription type, but I have had a 0% success rate in the past month of having the app and it honestly seems unfair. Maybe it has nothing to do with the app but I can’t be that bad right?

Women who like me are they bots ?. None of my likes reply to me when i send them hi what is the problem ?

Messages. I’ve had the app for some time and normally it doesn’t have issues. I was set to go on a date with someone who thought I stood them up because my messages of me being there were not sending. I have 99+ matches and can’t talk to anyone because messages are sending or I suppose are not being received on their end.

Fake app. This app has been ads and it’s so fake that you have to pay to get the full experience not cool

Best dating app but a cash grab. This dating app is probably one of the better apps. However Its extremely frustrating to use if you are not willing to drop a few bucks. No point in meeting someone in my area I never see anyone the people I see are states away from me. Duet you will go out of business if you don’t fix this just saying.

Your app rejected Nigeria you didn’t send code. I’m so disappointed

Great if you want long distance matches. They intentionally make it difficult to find anyone in your area. They have a nearby section where you can see people around you but you can’t like them. You have to pay to message them. But people stayed away? They flood to you. Their location is not a filter. You have to scroll to the bottom of their profile to even find their location. Not worth 60 plus bucks a month when I can’t even see you is around me!

Misleading notifications to push subscriptions. I’m disappointed with on this app it constantly shows likes and views, but you have to pay to see anything or do anything platform is filled the bots

Alot of fake profiles. I found a girl on here through image search and she confirmed she did not make an account with this app

Just a money grab. I’ve responded to multiple people without ever getting a response back. And they constantly want you to upgrade for more access to their service. NOT WORTH IT STAY AWAY

Horrible. Here’s a candid review you could post: I gave Duet a fair chance, but ultimately deactivated my account because the app is frustrating to use and poorly designed. First, the “likes” system doesn’t seem to work properly. I have over 9,999 likes, but no matter how many profiles I review, like, or dislike, the number never meaningfully decreases. Profiles I have already disliked often reappear multiple times. Even worse, if I dislike someone in the regular search section, they may still appear later in the “people who liked you” section, forcing me to reject the same person again. The handling of new likes is also confusing. If I click on a new like, decide whether I’m interested, and then go back, the list of new likes disappears, making it difficult to review them efficiently. The messaging experience is equally disappointing. I matched with dozens of people, yet almost nobody made any effort to have an actual conversation. Most messages were limited to “Hi,” “Hello,” or “How are you?” with no attempt to engage based on my profile, which is fully completed and contains plenty of information to start a meaningful conversation. On top of that, unread messages are difficult to identify because the visual distinction is so subtle. Important messages can easily get lost among older conversations. Overall, the app generated plenty of likes but very little meaningful interaction. Combined with the confusing interface and repetitive profiles, it felt more like an endless sorting exercise than a dating platform designed to help people connect. I won’t be returning.

Over priced. It’s just a money pit i don’t even recommend the free version

Literally just a scam. The dating app will have a fake account “match” you instantly. Then make you pay for a subscription to even see that it is a fake account. I’m trapped using it for 3 months after that

95% fake accounts. I may have met one actual human on this app, but still not in real life. So it's possible that I have never met an actual human on this app. After 3 weeks and 400+ likes, I got a few chats that went nowhere, most matches trying to get me off the app and onto WhatsApp, one guy bullying me into trying to meet up with him in an hour, and every 3rd profile that looked at all promising was either AI generated or a bot. The actual humans on there appear to be either antisocial or, as other reviews said, so far away that it's not worth it. And you have to scroll down to the bottom of each profile to see where they are. The interface itself would be great if it was even remotely legitimate. Feels like typical Bangladeshi click farm nonsense

Fraudulent/Scammers. This app gave me an offer so I thought I would try it- seems like a zillion fake profiles- didn’t really even get to test their “Premium Week “ offer for less than 24 hours before they tried to charge my card full price lol Don’t fall for their bs offer scams and the app sucks anyway - no one ever even actually replies or talks- everyone just sends stupid stickers and THEN NOTHING ELSE . Like how is that a real human action… it’s not. DONT FALL FOR THE SCAM OF THIS APP BEWARE

Can’t search or txt w/o additional money. I bought the initial access to Duet only to find out for men, after you pay, you still can’t search local (good luck with the random from 3 states away) and you can’t even text woithout buying the supremes membership. For guys, that’s hundreds of dollars.

Abuse of Trust and rights violations.. I recently updated my profile to be me in 2026 and the duet team completely reverted it back and I’m not happy about that. Please you got to pay to use this app will not continue to use

Why Bother Setting Distance. This app is completely useless. You can set a distance 3 miles 10 miles 20 miles 50 miles. You’ll consistently get people that are 150 to 500 miles away no matter what settings that you have set. Maybe that’s the point to get you to have their paid service but if you can’t trust what they offer for free, I’m surely not gonna trust what they offer when I pay.

Awful. Collects all your data, asks you several questions and then pay walls the use of that information…

Scam. I have no record in my App Store of purchased, but I keep getting charged on my bank account. I have tried to cancel/refund and I keep getting charged!!!

Doesn’t work. I have tried to go just on a date but they always say that they will be there and at the last second oh work just came up so are the AI

A disappointing app. They’re just out to get your money. They use fake profiles and make you think you’ve received “likes,” but it’s all a lie; in my case, at least, I received over 40 “likes,” but when I reciprocated, there was never a response.

Worthless. My favorite part of this app is where I’m given the option to set my preferences, and the app completely ignores them. You’re looking for someone nearby? Cool, here’s a bunch of people several states away. I also love how the surge of likes stops once you bend over to get exploited. It’s almost as if the app is designed to lure you in with people you’ll never be able to meet, get your money, and then removes all of your options.

Worst app I have paid for. On the surface this app seems decent. Moving to a new state I decided to give this a try. The main reasons I unsubscribed the same day is the location settings. Even though I paid for the “supreme” subscription, the distance settings have zero effect on your matches. Mine are set at 40 miles and I am constantly getting matched with women 8-10 hours away! Now that I can see the “local users” I know there are people closer but not one of them have populated in my Duet matches. Also you can not “like” or”pass” on your local users. You have to pay ADDITIONAL $$$ to send a “crush” or to message without matching (weird). Honestly, every other app besides maybe POF are much much better.

OK. I do not recommend this app although the platform seems legit it also seems user-friendly however, before even creating my profile or rather Before, I wasn’t even finished creating my profile I was already liked by some random person and then for the last three days, I have been getting likes, but I swipe and swipe on profiles on people who I’m interested in. I have done this for three days. Not a single match. And every time it recommends me paying for the app it gives me another like from another person I do not recommend downloading this app. It is full of bots. you’re better off on the mainstream apps and $25 a week is ridiculous to pay for this app. That is slightly decent. Use it at your own risk. Also,location is wrong I have it set within 50 mile radius of where I live. And it’s showing people profiles from different states that I don’t live in. Could possibly get better if you were to pay for it. but I am not wasting money on this.

This app is absolute trash. This app is literally as if its qualities were extracted from landfills. I have never used a worse dating app. This app constantly sends you notifications prompted as if they’re new ones when they’re the same person you’ve already declined. The one that you didn’t find attractive for the past 2 months despite it bugging you about them constantly. Among many other things. This is just one example, many other terrible borderline fraudulent features. STAY. AWAY. The developers of this should be ashamed they created such a toxic and manipulative platform.

Filters suck. The app itself has a novel concept for how matching happens but the search filters are otherwise non-existent. I have it set to an age range around my age and a distance of 50 miles MAXIMUM. Tell me why I am seeing people who are either over a decade older than myself or are living over 200 miles away? Clearly there are people within the selected range but a majority are these random people that I am either not interested in or are way outside a reasonable dating commute of. Additionally, this app attempts to force you to pay money just so you can have a chance to match with someone in the same city/ zip code. Also the UI is weirdly confusing. I had a hard time figuring out what to push in order to view the profile again after matching. That part might be a me issue but I feel I should state it regardless.

Location. Unsure of why this app refuses to show any matches that are near me. Wish you didn’t have to pay to see people who live within drivable distance

Pretty useless. They only show you people far away 🙄. They’ll show you people close by IF you pay for premium 🙄 I’d understand if they showed some far and some close but noooooooo…. They only show those far away. It’s useless

Notifications.. I use Duet daily and pay for the premium subscription. I will get about notification a day with a name saying something like “Haley likes you, come match!” But when I open the app I have 0 likes. I understand it’s not the app creators fault that I’m not getting matches. But the fake notifications just to get me to open the app are very frustrating and painful. I won’t be resubscribing.

Nothing Is Free. You can create a profile, put in all your information (enough for them to basically have your soul), just for you to get nothing in return. You can't message anyone unless you pay. You can't see you swiped right on you unless you pay. You can't do ANYTHING unless you pay for the stupid premium and you only learn that AFTER you provide them with all of your personal information, so much to the point where they know your facial structure.

Terrible. All the people on this app are hundreds of miles away. On top of the fact that if you delete your account they continue to store your data indefinitely.

Spammy/Waste of time. I checked this app out after a bunch of ads on YouTube since tinder seems burned out w/out premium nowadays; . Here’s the summary… it’s mediocre at best. Spammy notifications when off the app, fake likes, (“hidden” of course- ) you can’t see where your matches are from until you scroll to the end of the profile, but the cherry on top… the developers of this app are putting out ads that put Men down and ridicule Men. 0 stars.

Plan on spending lots of money for nothing. This has got to be one of the most garbage dating apps out there. It will not show you people near by for free. Instead it shows you people 100 to 700 miles away but if you pay then all of a sudden all the likes and attention you’re getting from “locals” will magically appear. Once you pay it’s nothing but continued frustration and disappointment. They’re only banking on our desperation. Save your money up for a hooker at least then it would be a sure thing and not throwing money down the drain for literally nothing

Forced into paying for premium subscription. This subscription offers several different tiers, if you buy the lowest level, you cannot see people that are local to you. You can only see other Duet members and they are all over the country.— absolutely no use to me. The app itself, isn’t anything to write home about. A waste of $25.

Worst possible app. Want a dating app that’ll show you people 200+ miles away? Want to pay to see anyone nearby only to find that there’s VERY few within 100 miles? (Then wonder if they’re fake profiles or just inactive from quite a while ago.) Want to get a pile of likes from people that would require a private helicopter to actually meet? Then this is the app for you!

Fake profiles and matches. Everything about this app is fake, fake matches fake people it’s just designed to try to get you to pay. You have 40 people who’ll like you but you never match with any of them until you pay and when you do they are all fake or live in Nigeria. Smh
