An editorial reading of the saved reviews

Uber Driver is a tool for drivers with critical failures in core functions: navigation stops working for weeks with no support response, the request queue freezes for days at a time, and a mandatory minimum acceptance rate pushes experienced drivers off the platform.

What people use it for

Drivers in high-demand cities who are willing to endure platform instability for the order volume

What reviews praise

The onboarding interface is relatively transparent, and basic operations for accepting and completing trips are clear to new drivers.

What reviews complain about

Navigation regularly stops working after updates, support does not resolve problems and ends conversations, and order distribution is unfair and opaque.

What users experience

3 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

I get so dang gone frustrated with the maps and directions, because they ALWAYS take you the long way, and when you know the short way, it will ask you about a detour and that you customer may cancel!! Do something about the OUT OF THE WAY DIRECTIONS!!!
Careful with the orders you accept, uber will try and scam you by offering an order right as you approach your delivery to confuse you into taking orders that are 15 miles out of the way for $5. Do not accept any orders under $1 a mile
Used to be great was a diamond driver now gold because of the new update for driver to maintain 50 percent acceptance rate so it's will be my last week delivering. So many driver were screwed and have now left for DoorDash.
