Long-term couples keep Between as their main way to communicate instead of regular texts, valuing the private separate channel, stickers, shared calendar and photo cloud. The huge pain is that for some people old photos and years of chats suddenly vanish, files older than a few months turn into gray boxes, and support goes silent for months. On top of that the app has not been updated in a long time, there are no reactions or replies to messages, and by today's standards it is a very basic messenger.
