People genuinely love drawing notes by hand and seeing them on their partner's widget, and for long-distance relationships it is a warm connection, almost like Snapchat for those not allowed to have it. But the app badly lets people down on reliability, notes often fail to send with an error, the widget does not refresh in the background so you have to open it manually, and long 30-40 minute drawings sometimes just will not send. A sore spot is streaks, they charge to repair them, and after 200 days the blooming vine effect stops working.
