People love Outdoor Afro for its real community: you can follow local leaders, visit spots they have vetted, and join group outings, which trail-map trackers lack. But as a Meetup replacement it fails: nearby events do not show up in the feed, you cannot filter by location (events from other states appear), there are no notifications, and the waiver form gets stuck.
